This is the newest version of my CI Monk. Our PoB DPS is 15 MILLION DPS! This factors in all of our buffs and attacks when bossing so all Pinnacles and up to 100 Million HP Bosses will die with my setup. I have examples on my Twitch and YouTube if you need to see for yourself.

My Invoker Monk uses Flicker Strike to rapidly clear out large groups of enemies. We'll use Cast on Critical with Voltaic Mark to create giant Lightning Explosion to Amp our clear speed even more. We'll generate Power Charges using Profane Ritual in our Cast on Critical and have a manual one as well. This will auto-generate Power Charges just by Critically Hitting enemies.

Bossing is handled using Flicker Strike combined with Infernal Cry. Sunder my Enemies... allows us to Ignore Enemy Resistances when we Crit which is great for DPS. Eye of Winter combined with the new Focus Effigy of Cruelty will allow us to apply Critical Weakness which almost give us a 100% Crit Hit Chance! This combination is allowing me to hit over 100 Million Damage in 1 Single Flicker Strike. Making any T4 Pinnacle a punching bag for this build.

We turn ourselves into a tank using Chaos Inoculation to make us Immune to Chaos Damage and a hybrid of Energy Shield and Evasion to have 5K ES and 65% Ev. We use Eternal Youth to heal our Energy Shield with our Life Flask.

We also have the freedom to choose between Mana Remnants, Herald of Ice, Ghost Dance, and Blink as we have a leftover 60 Spirit from only needing 1 CoC with this setup. This allows the user to cover one of their weak area's by using any of these Spirit Gems.

Sunder my Enemies... allows us to penetrate ALL ELEMENTAL RESISTANCES on Crit which we do very often thanks to support gems and the Passive Skill Tree.

  • Needs Modification to do T4 Sims due to no corpse creation in Sim

Build Variants

This variant uses Herald of Thunder in place of Infernal Cry to increase our mapping speed. We also take off Powertread since we don't want the 15% Movement Speed. The whole gimmick is to go fast so these boots would just slow us down.

Quarterstaff:

Go for a High DPS QStaff, Physical and Lightning are best but any does work. The most important Suffixes are going to be +6-7 Level of Melee Skill, Increased Critical Damage Bonus, Attack Speed, and Critical Hit Chance in this order. Make sure to use Soul Core of Ticaba as these are the BEST DPS increases for this build!

Sceptre:

Get a Rattling Sceptre for the Skeletal Warrior that we'll Sacrifice. Get an on Level Sceptre with + Level of Minions and/or Spirit to help them stay alive when using Sacrifice and Profane Ritual.

Focus:

We'll use Effigy of Cruelty to allow our Eye of Winter to apply Critical Weakness. We use this spell as it has a lot of projectiles so more chance to apply Critical Weakness

Body Armor:

The bare minimum ES on your Body Armor is 640, this will give you an extra 80 Spirit on top of the 100 Base Spirit for a Total of 180 Spirit. This will allow you to run Cast on Critical, Herald of Thunder, Wind Dancer, and your choice of either Mana Remnants or Herald of Ice. If you have a body Armor that's 880 ES then you can run all of these Spirit Gems since you'll have 210 Spirit. Make sure to Cap your Resistances and get any needed Attributes on the Body Armor, in this case INT.

Gloves:

We're going to use a Evasion and Energy Shield Hybrid pair of Gloves and make sure to get +2 Level of All Melee Skills and either Added Damage to Attacks, Critical Damage Bonus, or Attack Speed in this order. Always make sure to get the necessary Resistances and Attributes. Level of Melee Skill is the best scaling Damage to get for this slot, the Corrupt +1 Level of Melee Skill would be the absolute best in slot corruption.

Helmet:

CRITICAL HIT CHANCE IS BOOSTING MAPPING DPS MASSIVELY! Get this no matter what. Max Mana is huge for larger Mana Pool. We go ES so we get the EV boost from Subterfuge Mask. Get the remaining Resistances and Attributes Needed!

Boots:

Getting 35% Movement Speed makes mapping a breeze, you can always put on Blink if you want more Move Speed. Get Max Mana and increased INT or DEX to get our Attributes and fill out the rest of your Resistances. A massive damage boosting pair of boots that you can use EXCLUSIVELY for Pinnacle Bossing is the Powertread which can help you get the last little bit of DPS you need to 1 Flicker Strike a Boss.

Amulet:

CRITICAL DAMAGE BONUS AND LEVEL OF MELEE SKILL IS BOOSTING DPS MASSIVELY! Go for a Jade Amulet or Lapis Amulet for stats. Increased Max EV and ES are huge, the Increased Max EV is extremely important to hit that 70% threshold we want! Level of Melee Skill and Critical Damage Bonus are HUGE for DPS.

Anoint with Stormcharged if you want more DPS, this is huge for Mapping so we can proc Cast on Critical more often.

Rings:

Getting Flat Damage of any type but preferably Lightning is important for a DPS increase, I combo this with a % Increased Element Damage Prefix to make sure I get the damage I want. Corrupted Rings with Increased Damage or Critical Damage Bonus are sleeper picks. Max Mana is going to improve the feel of mapping as you don't wanna have to spam your Mana Flask. This is why I like using Mana Remnants to help here.

Use the Rings to fill out any missing Resistances and increase needed Stats.

Jewels:

The From Nothing with Passives in Radius of Zealot's Oath can be allocated without being connected to your tree is going to allow you to pick Sharpened Claw, Tough Claw, and Swift Claw which are 3 AMAZING nodes for DPS.

You can use a 2% Mana Recovered on Kill Sapphire to help sustain Mana if needed. Best stats on Jewels for this build are going to be Critical Damage Bonus, Critical Hit Chance, Attack Damage, Critical Damage with QStaff, Attack Speed, Increased Lightning Damage, etc...

I use a Megalomaniac with First Approach to allow our Flicker Strike to Crit more often and hit harder, I also have Invocated Efficiency to sustain my Mana but BE WARNED, almost no 2 Megalomaniac are the same so don't try to find my exact one. GET CREATIVE and find another useful Passive to use here.

The last Jewel I use is the Prism of Belief with +2 Level to Flicker Strike as I can't afford the +3 Level as it's 70-80 Div. I bought my +2 for 17 Div and it's a massive DPS increase. If you can't afford it then go with a really good Rare Jewel, no shame in doing it.

Skill Breakdown:

Unbound Avatar- High Burst DPS for Pinnacle Bosses, the 40% Increase to Elemental Damage helps us reach the 100 Million Mark

Flicker Strike - Main clear skill, use one you have sufficient Power Charges, the more the better and watch the enemies explode

Storm Wave - Used to generate Power Charges when Flicker fails to, is nice for cleaning up leftover enemies or smaller packs

Charged Staff - Used to Shock targets, Increase DPS, Cull Enemies, and Blind them to help our Evasion prevent us from being hit less often

Eye of Winter - This synergizes perfectly with Effigy of Cruelty allowing it to Apply Critical Weakness once more. This is pure utility, make sure it's a Level 13 Gem and DON'T quality it!

Profane Ritual - If everything is dead leading up to the map boss, this will allow you to generate charges manually using corpses so that you can use Flicker Strike on the Map Boss

Cast on Critical - This will auto-activate Voltaic Mark for extra clear and Profane Ritual for Power Charge generation. Much better than Cast on Freeze since we don't have to rely on having enough cold damage to freeze

Herald of Thunder - Always a nice added damage and clear speed

Wind Dancer - This will give us a 10% EV boost an help us stay alive when mapping and dodge some minor attacks when bossing, can be replaced by Ghost Dance if wanted

Mana Remnants - This will give us mana sustain so we don't have to spam our mana flask, also can up to double our total mana when mapping

Sacrifice - This allows us to use Profane Ritual on our Minions so we can generate Power Charges before the Pinnacle Boss or during the fight.

I tried to organize the Notable Passive's in the order and Route I'd take them as best as I could. The weapon set points are crucial to getting the most out of our damage as our weapon set 2 is our Effigy of Cruelty for Critical Weakness and allows us to get some more nodes.

I've used Path of Building to calculate the best possible routing for our Skill Tree and after playing with this build for over 2 weeks I can say this is the BEST Monk build I've made. This one beats the first iteration on my YouTube by a mile.

Atlas Tree

This is my preferred current method of farming but I have found good value out of Essences and Strongboxes if you juice them and corrupt them. The most straight forward method is going to be what I have shown here.

I would avoid Rogue Exiles no matter what, they just don't spawn frequently regardless if you've built into them and they spawn with corrupted gear half the time. Until they're buffed, don't bother with them.
