New Role Quests in Season 26

In 2026, Riot will be completely changing League of Legends for the better. There will be many changes to the game, and we will shortly release a full breakdown of everything you should expect.

In this article, we will discuss the new Role Quests and their rewards for each role. Before we begin, it is recommended that you watch the complete breakdown video to understand the upcoming changes.

Keep an eye out for new Season content coming soon!

All quests are related to your role. You need to kill minions, champions, get tower plates, destroy towers and secure epic objectives. You don’t have to go out of your way to complete the quests, and should naturally do this anyway.

Top Lane Rewards

Gain the Teleport Summoner Spell. If you already have it, your Teleport will be upgraded, and you’ll have a full max-health shield when you use it. In addition, you’ll gain increased XP from all sources and an increased level cap. The level cap is to level 20.

This is quite a cool concept, and having either TP or TP with a giant shield could be really good in mid- and late-game TP plays.

Teemo Splash

Jungle Rewards

Your pet will be upgraded, and you can Smite your enemies. You’ll gain increased gold and XP from killing large monsters. You’ll also be able to traverse the jungle much more quickly.

Riot noted that these changes aren't as significant as Top, Mid, or ADC, and yeah, I agree. These are nice benefits, but nothing on par with anyone else's.

Mid Lane Rewards

Mid Laners will receive free tier 3 boot upgrades. You’ll also get an empowered 4-second recall, which has a cooldown.

This is a decent change, and it could be really useful in certain situations. It will be interesting to see if this scales across the game, as it could be used to stop backdoor and split push plays.

Ahri Splash

ADC Rewards

Once the quest is completed, players will get a large sum of gold. They will also get additional gold from killing minions, securing kills, and getting assists. To prevent you from getting max build quickly, you’ll also get a 7th item slot to hold your boots so that you can buy 6 offensive items.

This is a very promising change, and it will be exciting to see if it goes through. This could make ADCs like Vayne and Twitch extremely strong in the late game!

Vayne Splash

Support Rewards

Supports get an additional slot like the ADC, but this is exclusively for Control Wards. You’ll also secure a discount on all Control Ward purchases and increased passive gold generation to help you buy your items. This additional gold will stop you from falling so far behind, and the extra slow allows you to buy 1 additional late game item.

I think the Support quest is a major quality-of-life change, and it is another really good change.

Overall Thoughts

Overall, these changes are pretty good, and I cannot wait to try them out. Riot has made tons of changes in the new Season, and I think it will give the game a refreshing feel.
