Nocturne Matchups Overview
Nocturne General information
Try to get level 6 as quickly as possible so you’re able to impact the map with your Ultimate R.
As you’re an Assassin, try to assassinate immobile champions that are in the side lane alone. You can also use your Ultimate R to take down champions who are running through the river alone too.
When ganking, get as close as you can to the enemy before casting your Ultimate R just in case they walk out of range. Make sure you’re not spotted by deep wards though.
Every combo you need to master the champion!
If you want to use the most popular Nocturne Jungle build, you should take Flash and Smite as your Summoner Spells. For runes, you should pick Lethal Tempo as your keystone, followed by Triumph, Legend: Alacrity and Coup de Grace in the primary tree, as well as Eyeball Collection and Ultimate Hunter in the secondary tree. For rune shards, you want Attack Speed in offense, Adaptive Force in flex and Armor in defense, though it depends on the matchup. Finally, for your items, you should build Stridebreaker as your first item, followed by Plated Steelcaps and Black Cleaver. For your last 3 items, you should build Death's Dance, Guardian Angel and finish with Maw of Malmortius. For the skill order, you want to stick with Q - E - W. Right now, this build has 55.0% winrate over 96 365 matches played.

In the current patch, this build has a 51.0% win rate over 6 111 matches.
