Really good waveclear with her W. This can allow her to shove the wave really quickly and then help her Jungler on different occasions.
Her Q helps her with gank set-ups, and picks during the mid-game. The root duration can easily allow her to hide in a Jungle brush and wait for her target to wander into her Q range.
The E can allow her to make one of her carries or herself invincible to CC for a while. This is really beneficial during team fights, or when laning against heavy CC.
Her Q can be blocked by minions. If the enemy is positioning well throughout the laning phase, it will be very hard for you to land this ability.
Misuse of her E can lead her to many nasty situations which are potentially lethal for her. This is especially true if her opponent has some form of hard CC.
Missing her Q can give her enemies a long time window to harass her freely. That ability is quite easy to dodge if she tries to land it from vision or from maximum range.
0 - 15 min
Focus on shoving the wave with your W and only use your Q when you will be able to guarantee a hit. Missing the ability will allow the enemy to all-in you.
Your E will save you from a lot of trouble in this lane. Just ensure that you use it properly before being CC'd or taking a lot of magic damage. You may even use it as a tool to all-in enemies.
Once you get your Ultimate R, you should be able to dominate the enemy quickly. Try to be a part of as many fights as possible to make practical usage of the Ultimate R.
15 - 25 min
During the middle game, you will want to shove the wave in and then work with your teammates to pick off enemies when possible. Your Q should help you a lot with that.
Getting a Zhonya's Hourglass will amplify your all-in potential, and you will be able to dish out humongous amounts of damage without taking much in return.
Neutral Objective fights should be your bread and butter as your Q, W, and Ultimate R will completely shut off paths for the enemies to even get close to the objective pits.
25+ min
Use the fog of war to get picks with your Q and W. Your E should be on a shorted cooldown as well, so use it freely.
If you are not that fed, consider using your E to shield an ally acting as the carry. Such an ally getting CC'd will mean demise for your team.
Before going for neutral objectives, try to set a death brush and kill any enemy who decides to blindly check the lane brushes. This will help you massively with securing objectives effortlessly.
Level 3 is a massive spike as she can now look for all-ins while being completely safe herself. Her E makes her extra safe from ganks.
Getting her Ultimate R is another huge power spike. This means that she can run down many enemies and increase the CC chain after landing her Q.
The first item component will allow Morgana to lane more efficiently. It will let her do a lot of damage with her W and Q.
She will have her core items during this phase of the game. She will deal hefty amounts of damage, and the enemy will have difficulty catching enemies off.
Another point in her Ultimate R will allow her to make sure that she deals a lot of damage while also making sure that she can make plays for her team. Her burst damage will be massive.
Her first ability will be maxed out at level 9. This will increase her damage and will allow her to use her Passive in clutch situations.
Her damage during this phase of the game is immense. She just needs to land her Q, and her W and Ultimate R can do the rest.
A fully maxed out Ultimate R will allow Morgana to frequently use her Ultimate R. This means she can pick off the entire enemy team with well-timed Ultimate Rs.
Her late-game team fighting is on another level. She will deal a lot of damage while also ensuring that one of her carries or she is CC immune.
