Let her push you in. Keep the wave closer to your side of the map to reduce her all-in potential, ultimately keeping you alive for longer and preventing her from getting kills.

When playing as a ranged champion, try to harass and bully her as often as possible. Avoid over-committing to doing this, though, as the minion damage does stack up after a while.

Keep trades short; don’t go for extended trades with her, as she wins those. You should only try to go for an extended fight if she has wasted an ability beforehand.

She likes to split, push, and apply pressure. If she is ahead, you must ensure someone on your team matches her so she cannot take Towers for free.

However, grouping against her is also really important. If she is grouping with her team, make sure everyone groups too, as her Ultimate is a strong team fighting tool that can isolate and take down squishy and vulnerable champions.

Look for fights when she is low, not around or when her Ultimate is down. These 3 things make fighting her a lot easier.

Usually, champions like Ambessa get their first power spike around level 4. This is because she puts a 2nd point in her primary aggressive spell.

Another power spike is level 6 as she unlocks her Ultimate. While it might not look that strong on paper in 1v1s, it can be the reason she gets a kill via an all-in.

Once she completes her first component item, her damage output heavily increases. Keep an eye on what items she purchases first and what items she returns with. Play safe if you’re weaker than her so she can't get a kill.
