When it comes to high damage builds, Zeus is the best of the best. Both Heaven Strike and Heaven Flourish inflict Blitz, and deals a burst of lightning damage. His Cast Boon, Storm Ring is also has the highest dps potential of any Cast. Moreover, the effectiveness of all 3 gets buffed by his tier-2 Boon, Double Strike.

Static Shock is his best non-core Boon. The chain-lightning enables you to quickly clear standard encounters. As you begin to push into higher Fear runs, Vow of Wards armor is easily delt with by Static Shock.

Lightning Lance is one of only two ranged Cast Boons (Glowing Coal is the other, and technically Howling Soul is a 3rd option). Even if you have a close ranged Weapon and build going, the extra damage and option for ranged Cast is always going to be welcome addition.

Honestly, you can put Heaven Flourish on any Nocturnal Arm and end up with a great build. As you get farther into the night and your damage per second increases, you'll want a Weapon Move that can reapply Blitz quickly after its been triggered.

The Best Storm Ring Weapon is definitely Aspect of Circe. Two Zeus Casts dropped on top of the same enemy makes for one of the easiest win conditions in the game.

Static Shock works best with fast hitting Weapon Aspects. Every hit sends out another instance of chain-lightning, so the more hits the better.

Any Aspect and build that uses high Amounts of Magick can be paired with Ionic Gain. It doesn't directly interact with your Weapon.

The best Gods to pair with Zeus are:

• Hera, for Hitch damage sharing with Blitz and Extended Family to boost its damage.
• Aphrodite for Rapture Ring's CC, Weak's damage reduction, and their duo Boon Romantic Spark.
• Ares because his secondary Boons Grievous Blow and Mutual Destruction grant global damage buffs that work with Blitz.

Blitz deals a large burst of damage to individually afflicted foes. This makes it one of the best curses to use against Guardians. You also have Arc Flash, Double Strike, Extended Family, Romantic Spark, Killer Current, & Thermal Dynamics to futher boost Blitz damage.

Additionally, because you can inflict Blitz to an infinite number of enemies, its is equally good for AoE damage in chambers with large groups of enemies. Top it off with Static Shock as previously mentioned, and you'll have no issues clearing standard encounters.

When you manage to get his Legendary Boon, Shocking Loss, mini-bosses can be destroyed by it as well as all non-Guardian foes. There literally isn't a better boon for speeding up Standard Encounters.

Look for Zeus when you want to put together a high damage build that focuses on offensive power. He doesn't offer any defensive help, other than killing the enemies faster.

If you feel that destroying enemies and vanquishing Guardians is taking too long, or you're struggling to beat the timer with Vow of Time, consider centering your build around Zeus.
