Build Overview

In this build primary focus should be getting Plasma to boost attack speed. This will stack onto the Thanatos buff the weapon already gives towards attack speed (granted you don't get hit).

Secondary focus should be Lifesteal/Healing; this can come from either Ares using Blood Spree or Apollo's Self Healing. I prefer Apollo's healing but aiming for both would be ideal. From there I recommend selecting boons that buff Omega Attack, Attack, and Sprint. Dodge would also be ideal.

In the arcana, you may ask... why put Strength if I'm putting Death? This is for security measures. I find it better because it gives a higher chance to beat the last boss once getting to them since I typically don't lose a defiance beforehand, even with Vows. Strength gives such a huge boost I find it worth to hold onto, even if inactive. However, if you wish to change it, I recommend replacing it with Night for Crit boost, or Huntress for more damage.

This build isn't strict and can be altered for the sake of what works for you. This is just what works for me.

This is what typically works for me. The chances of getting exactly what you need for this build are a little difficult, hence the Fate Re-rolls, however please feel free to grab what works for you. I find that grabbing mainly Hestia works best as primary damage dealer. Ares, Apollo, and Aphro are all the boons I pick to assist with weakening enemies or strengthening myself using healing and attack/speed boosts.

Starting Loadout

The aspect helps towards bigger damage and crit hits if you aren't hit. Which is why i love to pair it with Dazzling Display. Raki also assists here with the crit chance; the bird may seem small but once you pair it with Aspect of Thanatos it helps pretty decently. But if Raki doesn't suit you I HIGHLY recommend swapping to Frinos. The frog can TANK attacks and the bonus health makes him SO worth the swap.

Few Arcanas you should NOT swap out would be...

The Sorceress. With this build, you should try to use your omega attack as much as possible, and that card gives you such a huge boost and is so crucial to making sure you don't get hit while trying to charge it up.

The Unseen is also very essential to this build because of how much you should be using your omega attack, that move drains your mana so having this little boost before you grab a gain is so helpful. And even afterwards, it applies a bonus onto your gain if you were to pick Aphro Gain and you practically never loose mana.

Strength. Now, you should try not to get hit with this build. But, if you do, Strength helps a lot in making sure you don't take too much damage while also providing a huge buff to all you attacks. I typically have it inactive because by the time I possibly loose my death defiances against the final boss, it will help me if I end up taking hits. (Especially against Typhon)

God Boons

Just try to get Plasma, Daze, or Dodge. You don't NEED both Daze and Dodge you can efficiently pick one or the other as both Apollo and Aphro are perfect for this build so it's ultimately up to the player whether or not they want to apply daze and be fast, or to apply weak and use dodge.

Upgrades and Support

Every Upgrade and NPC boons is honestly open to change. You don't need any single one. Except for maybe Hermes Hasty Retreat. That's really it though.

Poms of Power however should absouletly be focused on your attack because thats what you'll be using the most. After that I recommend leveling your Gain whichever one that may be.

General Tips and Tricks

You'll want to use your omega attack as much as you can and as quickly as you can without getting hit. Time enemy attacks and abilities to dodge at the right times to maximize damage from The Aspect. My combo without omega attack is..

Attack 4x but instead of the final chop, I hit my special. This makes it so I apply my special boon and doesn't take as long to hit unlike the final chop of the attack. You don't have to do this attack combo but I find it more useful.

I use Omega special when i want to hit a ranged attack. You'd be surprised how far the Omega Special hits. Hence why is put Ares Special and the falling sword, it'll apply wound and deal extra damage. It'll do half a enemies health before you even reach them.
