Descura Melinoë Ω Special Heartthrob

The Aspect of Melinoë increases your maximum Magick and your Special Power. This build leans hard into both of these things, with the ideal setup letting you rip Ω Specials like they cost free ninety nine.

Our main source of damage is Flutter Flourish. The higher rarity and level the better. If 250% extra Special damage doesn't do it for you then I don't know what does. We're also going to juice up our Special even further with Controlled Burn, and, if we get lucky, Fourth Degree, Exceptional Talent, along with either Dual Moonshot or Rapid Moonshot and Giga Moonburst or Aetheric Moonburst.

We've also got a backup game plan with Heart Breaker. Since we're gonna be spamming Ω Specials constantly, we'll be spending quite a bit of Magick, which means quite a few Heartthrobs. We're supplementing this plan with Carnal Pleasure, utilizing Grisly Gain, Profuse Bleeding, Visceral Impact, and Sanguinary Savor to spawn as much Plasma as possible. We're also picking up Apollo for the chance to get Sunny Disposition.

Lastly, for some extra synergy with Apollo and Hestia, we've got a nice little Daze/Dodge package in Blinding Rush and Back Burner, along with Hot Pot and Hasty Retreat, culminating in, hopefully, Warm Breeze.

Weapon Aspect

Descura's Special is slow on its own, but it can be canceled into an Attack, Cast, or Dash. You can mix and match Attacks, Casts, Dashes, and Specials as you see fit.

Ω Attacks are useful for their long range application of Blitz. Ω Attacks can also be used from behind cover, while Ω Specials can't.

Animal Familiar

We're running with Hecuba since we're going to be spending a lot of Magick.

Primary God

From Aphrodite we want Flutter Flourish. The higher rarity and higher level the better. Heart Breaker capitalizes on our high Magick spending. Shameless Attitude is a flat damage boost, and Healthy Rebound and Spiritual Affirmation make sure we keep the extra extra damage.

God Pool

Hestia

From Hestia we want Flame Strike. It's not very important, but it's a reliable source of Scorch and a good Attack Boon from our God Pool. What we're really going for is Controlled Burn to add some heat to our Specials. Hot Pot is nice for our Daze/Dodge strategy, and Flash Fry is just good.

Apollo

From Apollo we want Solar Ring and Blinding Rush for easy Daze application. Back Burner is great with Daze, and Perfect Image is just good. However, what we're really after are Sunny Disposition and Warm Breeze.

Ares

From Ares we want as much Plasma as we can get to synergize with Carnal Pleasure, namely from Grisly Gain, Profuse Bleeding, Visceral Impact, and Sanguinary Savor. We also very much want Fourth Degree for our ever so important Special sauce.

Poms

We want as many levels on Flutter Flourish as we can get. Any levels we can get on Controlled Burn or Heart Breaker are a decent consolation prize. If none of those are on offer, anything that gets us extra Plasma is good.

Hermes

From Hermes our top priority is Success Rate, since it buffs our chances to spawn Plasma with Profuse Bleeding and Visceral Impact. After that, we want Racing Thoughts and Nimble Limbs for Ω Special speed, and Hasty Retreat for some extra Dodge chance. If none of those are on offer, Mean Streak is just extra damage.

Hammers

The best Hammers are Dual Moonshot and Rapid Moonshot to boost Flutter Flourish. The second best are either of Giga Moonburst, or Aetheric Moonburst. If none of those are on offer, Shimmering Moonshot is an alright substitue.

Hexes

This build spends a lot of Magick, which means we can reliably spend enough to trigger some of the big boy Hexes. Enter Total Eclipse. One bajillion damage in a giant circle every few seconds. Especially juicy on Guardians.

NPC Offerings

NPC Offerings are super RNG heavy, and as such its good practice to not rely on them too much. However, there are a few from each NPC that would benefit us.

Chaos

From Chaos, Flourish is our top choice, but Celerity and Chant, Mind, Talent, and Will are also good.

Artemis

From Artemis, Killing Stroke is best, but Shadow Pounce and Lethal Snare are also good.

Echo

From Echo, Pom Pom Pom is best, but nothing is really bad.

Hades

From Hades, Cinerary Circle will trigger constantly because of how much Magick we're spending.

Circe

From Circe, Word of Smaller Stature is best. Word of Greater Girth is also good.

Athena

From Athena, Phalanx Shot is even more Special sauce. Righteous Pike also synergizes with how much Magick we're spending.

Dionysus

From Dionysus, Drunken Stupor is best, but nothing is really bad.

Gameplay Loop

• Cast with Solar Ring
• Ω Special with Flutter Flourish
• Repeat

It's that simple. Throw in an Attack every once in a while once you get Flame Strike to apply Scorch, but just keep Ω Specialing.
