Aspect of Eos's Omega Attack fires out a Daybreaker, which orbits around the chamber and mirrors your Specials. I’ll break down how Daybreaker works below to help you optimize its mechanics.
Daybreaker Orbital Destruction
Build Overview
Full Build

Starting Loadout
Arcana
Night (X) is great for Eos.
To clarify, when performing an Omega Combo Attack → Special → (repeat) only the first Ω Attack pulse benefits from Night Crit % chance. The subsequent pulses count as separate Ω Attacks.
However, the entire duration of the Ω special of both yours and the Daybreaker's enables
Night (X)'s Crit % chance to persist throughout its entire duration.
Pet
Hecuba for Magick,
But if you don't have grit or hordes on, you could probably manage without
Hecuba until you get a good Gain Boon.
In which case take whichever pet you prefer based on preference and Arcana build.
God Boons
Attack
To maximize Daybreaker damage, you should have a high damage % Boon on your Attack. I suggest
Sworn Strike as the pick because the damage is high and the Daybreaker will spread Hitch as it floats around the stage.
Nova Strike is also a strong choice because of the huge AoE on every pulse. But you can also take
Vicious Strike &
Ice Strike. Wounds it’s actually quite good on the Attack because every 3rd pulse gets Wound Power, and you’ll have access to both
Ares DD Boons.
DD Boons go HARD with a high damage Special like Blitz.
Special
Night (X)’s Crit % chance on the two Ω Specials means that Damage % Boons can also be good choices. The rapid hits of Specials between yourself and the Daybreaker mean that on hit effects like Scorch, Blitz, and Waves also work well. Pretty much take whatever you prefer or the first decent offering on the Special.
Recommending
Heaven Flourish as top choice because everyone in the room will constantly have Blitz applied, triggered, and reapplied with the Specials flying everywhere.
Cast
As long as you get a curse on both Attack and Special, any Cast Boon will work well for this build.
Take
Anvil Ring,
Storm Ring,
Tidal Ring for max damage. (Froth is REALLY good with Eos Specials.)
If you are having trouble not taking damage,
Rapture Ring and
Arctic Ring are the best choices for CC.
Hephaestus Cast deals high damage, introduces his defensive Boons into your pool and opens up
Master Conductor if you have
Static Shock.
Smolder Ring gives
Thermal Dynamics. Damage is crazy. Go for it.
Gain
Lucid Gain feels like free infinite Magick because you’ll be using Cast off cooldown. You for sure need a high amount of Magick regen when using
Aspect of Eos as there should always be Ω Attack and Ω Special active.
Other good options are
Born Gain,
Ionic Gain,
Hera and
Cardio Gain. The on-hit Gains,
Cardio Gain and
Grisly Gain, work well here because of the rapid Speical hits.
Secondary Boons
Static Shock,
Double Strike,
Air Quality,
Extended Family,
Uncanny Fortitude.
Static Shock would be the highest priority secondary Boon. You’ll clear rooms insanley fast with Hitch on Attack + Chain-Lightning. Daybreaker Attack/Specials and your own trigger
Static Shock.
For all other Boons, go for increasing damage and fortifying your defenses.
Upgrades and Support
Hammers
Hammers that buff your Specials are the best hammers for
Aspect of Eos.
Clean Coil makes it safer to channel the Omega Special, and
Enduring Coil makes them last longer.
Whirling Helix &
Melting Helix are also good choices for increased damage output..
NPC Boons
From
Artemis, if you don’t have
Static Shock,
Support Fire is good subsitiute. Otherwise
Pressure Points,
Shadow Pounce, and
Lethal Snare are good for Crit %.
From
Hades, take
Life Tax if you need health, otherwise shoot for
Gigaros Dash, with
Cinerary Circle and
Unseen Ire as back ups.
If you are using
Strength (XXIII) and can summon
Athena with
Gorgon Amulet, she has multiple strong Boons.
You move pretty slow, and dashing is your primary means of evading,
Divine Dash makes dodging damage notably easier. You use Magick to get a bit of use out of
Righteous Pike. Any other deflect are good if you don't need DD refill.
General Tips and Tricks
Aspect of Eos requires purposeful Magick management, and a lot of time spent Channeling Omega Moves.
Letting the Daybreaker float around and kill everyone is very safe. However, the time required to Channel Omega’s so frequently leaves you vulnerable to enemy Attacks.
In General you should always Dash away from enemies before Channeling either Ω Move. Try to never channel Omega Moves directly in front of a foe, unless you are certain it is during the cooldown between their attacks.
When Magick conservation is a concern, keep using Ω Attack, but do not use the Ω spec.
Combat Loop
- Ensnare foes in your Cast
- (Or place a Cast between yourself and foes to prevent them from approaching you.)
- Fire an Omega Attack Daybreaker,
- Immediately channel Omega Special
- Spam standard Special until the Day breaker expires.
Daybreaker Mechanics
- Only 1 Daybreaker can be out at a time. Firing a second one will delete the first.
- Only one Omega Special can be active at a time.
- Using Omega Special while the previous is still orbiting also deletes the first and replaces with the new.
- If you Ω Attack/Special while the previous one is out, you’ll be wasting a ton of Magick. This will be a problem for most Gain Boons.
- Since the Daybreaker auto fires your Ω Attack, and the Ω Special lingers, its best to spam standard Specials after both O Moves are active.
