Best Mining Pals in Palworld

For the operation of any machines/structures needing Mining in Palworld, you'll need the help of a Pal that has Mining as one of their traits. Here is an overview of the best Pals for this job.

Each Work Suitability has an associated Handbook that can be given to a Pal to increase the relevant stat. Mining's Handbook, called Applied Mining Handbook, means that any Pal in the game can achieve Mining Level 10.

Unfortunately, these books are incredibly rare. They are primarily found:

• Purchasable from Medal Merchants for 300 Dog Coins
• Found in Treasure Boxes

Once you have a setup capable of being utilized by your Mining focused Pals, here is a list of the structures that will make use of the trait:

Aegidron

Starting with the best stat number in the slot here, Aegidron comes in at 8 Mining. It's also a fairly decent Pal for its partner skill, which grants the player 60% less damage from explosive attacks, and immunity to stun.

Aegidron can be found in the bottom left of the World Tree, near the Lacrymal Shoal fast travel interactable.

Blazamut

Your other choice for Mining is Blazamut, which starts off with 7 Mining, and an added bonus of Kindling Level 6. If you can't grab an Aegidron, this is a solid option to pick.

Blazamut can be found in the North East section of the Mount Obsidian Trail location on the map.

Astegon

Lastly, another recommendation is Astegon, who also clocks in with 7 Mining. Additionally, the partner skill for this Pal increases damage dealt to all ores by 1100%, and allows you to obtain 150% more Ore once mounted.

Astegon can be found at the left-most portion of the map.

All traits have the ability to have their points boosted globally by +1 by having a specific Pal present at your base. This ability does not stack. In the case of Mining, the Pal you will need present at your base is Tetroise
