Overview

Aion 2’s November update brings Ludra back to the global version, introducing a major endgame target alongside event rewards and a regional race for exclusive titles.

Normal and Hard Mode will open together, while additional Odyle Energy will become available before the raid returns. Players can also look forward to check-in rewards, Twitch Drops and community challenges tied to dungeon clears.

This overview covers Ludra’s return, the announced entry requirements, the accompanying events and the deadlines to keep in mind.

If you are still getting started, our Aion 2 beginner guide covers the core systems and early progression priorities.

Ludra Returns on November 4

The Ludra Sanctuary raid returns on November 4, 2026, with both difficulties available immediately.

The entry requirements are:

  • Normal Mode: 2,800 item level.
  • Hard Mode: 3,000 item level.

Players who meet the Hard Mode requirement can attempt it from release, without waiting for a separate unlock.

Ludra was removed from the global launch after Early Access groups defeated the boss earlier in progression than NC intended. Its return will include new mechanics, giving players fresh challenges to learn.

The updated mechanics have not been fully detailed, so previous strategies should be treated as background knowledge when preparing for the returning encounter.

Players working towards Ludra can also tackle the recently added Hard Mode versions of Krao Cave and Draupnir, which require 2,600 item level and offer additional progression rewards. Our Krao Cave guide covers its boss mechanics and strategies.

Ludra Hunt and Regional Title Rewards

Ludra’s return comes with the Ludra Hunt, an event that rewards successful clears and gives competitive groups a regional race to enter.

The first 20 parties in each region to defeat Hard Mode Ludra can earn ranked titles. Separate competitions will take place across:

  • NA East.
  • NA West.
  • Europe.
  • South America.
  • Asia.

The first successful Hard Mode party in each region receives the Conqueror of Ludra title, with additional ranked titles available to the other qualifying early clears.

Players who miss the regional rankings can still earn a title by clearing Ludra during the event. This gives groups a reward to pursue even if they are not aiming for one of the first Hard Mode clears.

If you want to compete in the regional race, the important progression target is 3,000 item level, since the ranked rewards are tied to Hard Mode.

Bonus Odyle Energy Begins October 28

Preparation rewards begin before the raid arrives.

Starting October 28, players can receive two Odyle Energy items per character each day through in-game mail. The distribution runs through the November 10/11 maintenance window, depending on the regional schedule.

Because the rewards are distributed per character, alternate characters can receive them too. Check the inboxes of the characters you actively play so you do not miss their deliveries.

The mail expires after seven days, making it important to claim the rewards before each message’s expiry timer runs out.

The additional energy can support Expedition and Transcendence reward claims as you work towards stronger equipment. Choose activities that provide useful upgrades for your current progression stage.

These temporary rewards can fit around your normal routine. Our Aion 2 daily and weekly checklist covers the regular activities, shops and resets to keep track of alongside the event.

Check-In Rewards, Twitch Drops and Daeva Bootcamp

The wider Ludra celebration includes several ways to collect additional rewards.

These events have their own schedules, so the early Odyle Energy distribution should not be confused with the start of every other activity.

Ludra Check-In Rewards

A seven-step Ludra check-in event offers progression resources for logging in during the event period.

The announced rewards include:

  • 1.5 million Bound Kina across the reward track.
  • 30,000 Abyss Points.
  • Soul Crystals.
  • Additional progression currencies.

Check the event panel for the individual rewards and claim conditions as each step becomes available.

Twitch Drops

A Twitch Drops campaign accompanies Ludra’s return, with additional rewards that include Odyle Energy.

The full reward track requires 14 hours of eligible viewing. Check the campaign’s participating streams, account-linking requirements and claim instructions before working through the rewards.

Daeva Bootcamp

Daeva Bootcamp introduces community goals based on global dungeon-clear milestones.

Rewards unlock as the community reaches the required totals, giving players another incentive to participate in dungeon activities during the event.

The check-in campaign, Twitch Drops and community milestones provide goals beyond the competitive Ludra title race, so players can still take part while working towards the raid’s entry requirements.

Important Dates Before and After Ludra’s Return

Several deadlines fall around the November update, including the end of the current server-transfer window and Halloween activities.

Before October 28 Maintenance

Complete any planned server transfers within the current transfer window before it closes.

If you are arranging to play with friends, check your region’s available transfer times and restrictions in advance. The transfer window ends separately from Ludra’s release.

From October 28

Start checking your characters’ mail for the daily Odyle Energy rewards.

Claim each delivery before its seven-day expiry and work the additional energy into your dungeon routine.

Before November 4 Maintenance

Review the Halloween event merchant and spend event currency on the rewards you want before the event ends. The Halloween schedule runs up to the November 4 maintenance window in Europe.

The coin merchant offers additional Odyle Energy, making it worth checking while preparing for Ludra.

November 4

Ludra returns, with Normal and Hard Mode available from release.

Normal requires 2,800 item level, while Hard requires 3,000. Groups aiming for the ranked Ludra Hunt titles will need to prepare for Hard Mode.

November 10/11 Maintenance

The bonus daily Odyle Energy event ends according to the regional maintenance schedule.

Check the final delivery and any remaining mail expiry timers so you can claim the rewards still available to your characters.
