Updated on Aug 7, 2026
Aug 7, 2026

Overview

Shadowstrix is one of the strongest classes in Mistfall Hunter. The rogue archetype uses stealth, shadow-based movement, and fast melee strikes to create sudden openings in battle, featuring a unique playstyle that overwhelms enemies.

This build guide will show you how to dominate with Shadowstrix right from the get-go.

Made in collaboration with Firebox. Check out his video for more information and demonstrations of this build!

Gear

Here is the Gear Code for this build: 4e5UeibaIloOPWqLqeCXWMQPeZG0QcSf5rgKtrERV

This code will allow you to copy the items and gems to obtain the optimal loadout. To import a code, simply do the following:

  • Open the Prepare tab in the character screen when in base.
  • Select Manage/Import at the bottom left
  • Navigate to Import Loadout, and paste the code.

Affixes

This build uses the following affixes. Due to this beginner set up only using blue gear, the affixes are comparatively limited:

Overall Affixes

  • Stoic 5 - Physical Resistance +5.5%. Magic Resistance +5.5%. Restores 15% health.
    • Some extra durability and a lifeline when you fall low on HP
  • Valor 5 - Attack +7.5%. Defense Penetration +1.8%
    • Extra damage and armour penetration for higher geared opponents
  • Seeker 5 - Movement Speed +6%, stacking up to 2 times
    • Keeps you close and sticky to the opponent
  • Fervor 5 - Physical Damage +2%. Magic Damage +2%. Defense Penetration +2.5%
    • Dual Blades get lots of continuous hits in, allowing you to stack this quickly
  • Elusive 2
    • Generically good

Victory Wine

Stoic +2, Valor +2, Seeker +1, Elusive +1

Skills

This build utilises both the Dual Blades and the Dagger.

Dagger Skills

  • Flash Stride
  • Poison Crow Mark

The key strategy with the Dagger is to pop into stealth with Sneak, dash toward the enemy using Flash Stride, and then instantly use Poison Crow Mark. This combo makes it incredibly hard to dodge Poison Crow Mark, reducing their movement speed and dodge distance, setting you up to swap to the Dual Blades to combo them down.

Dual Blades

  • Crow Storm
  • Spinning Slash

When talented appropriately, Crow Storm will stun enemies caught within which is extremely strong. Spinning Slash is primarily used to grant Super Armor thanks to its talent, enabling you to play aggressive without taking as much damage.

Talents

These talents focus around an aggressive playstyle, as Shadowstrix is an offensive-minded class that demands high melee uptime.

  • Battle Frenzy - strong damage ramp and easier to apply compared to its alternative, Wound Buildup.
  • Bloodthirst Frenzy - more damage ramp after using Bloody Blade Dance and offers outplay potential versus Blackarrow
  • Wild Slash - energy recovery
  • Combat Euphoria - extra movespeed for hounding enemies
  • Stance Recovery - lower cooldowns on abilities
  • Unstoppable - extra survivability after using Spinning Slash
  • Blackout - adds stun affect to Crow Storm
  • Enhanced Crow Storm - juices Crow Storm and makes Blackout stun easier to apply

Tips & Tricks

  • Combo Flash Stride into Poison Crow Mark for an almost guaranteed hit. Follow up with Crow Storm to turn a slowed enemy into a stunned one!
  • The level 3 Victory Wine will give you 6 affixes, allowing you to reach the threshold for bonus effects (level 5) in multiple affixes.
  • Play aggressive! Certain talents like Stance Recovery require you to get stuck in, and the ramping damage of Battle Frenzy and Bloodthirst Frenzy rewards players that can keep the pressure up.
  • Shadowstrix has great offensive tools, but lacks defense. Use Sneak to reposition for heals when needed.
