The Rocks Island, also known as Island 4, introduces the Professional Lure, the Sniper Rifle and the Terrorizing Bird quest. To complete the island, you must catch a Tuna, use it to attract the Albatross and return the boss drop to unlock the final island.
After defeating the Pufferfish on the Desert Island, collect its Fin and return it to the Tourist. He will reward you with the coordinates for the Rocks Island.
Return to your boat and follow the new location using your Radar until the rocky island comes into view.
Upgrade Your Equipment
Visit the island’s shop to find the new Professional Lure, Professional Boss Lure and Sniper Rifle.
The Professional Lure costs $50 and catches the regular fish found around the island, making it useful for earning money. However, you will need the $1,200 Professional Boss Lure to progress through the main quest.
The Sniper Rifle is also a great weapon to purchase if you can afford it. Its high damage and accuracy make it particularly useful against the upcoming Albatross boss, although a well upgraded ranged weapon can still get the job done.
Start the Terrorizing Bird Quest
Speak to the islander inside the shop to begin the Terrorizing Bird quest. The island is being attacked by a large bird, but you cannot summon it using an ordinary lure.
Before the Albatross will appear, you must catch a Tuna and use its body as bait.
Catch the Tuna
Purchase the Professional Boss Lure and cast it into the water surrounding the island. Make sure you select the Boss Lure, as the cheaper Professional Lure only catches regular fish.
Reel in the Tuna and defeat it using your ranged weapon. It can quickly launch itself towards you, so keep moving while attacking from a safe distance.
Once the Tuna is defeated, do not sell, cook or eat it. You will need the complete Tuna to summon the Albatross.
Prepare for the Albatross
The Albatross will arrive shortly after the Tuna is placed on dry ground. Before doing this bring food for healing and make sure your chosen weapon is ready.
The Sniper Rifle is especially effective because the Albatross spends much of the fight flying at long range.
Complete the Rocks Island
After defeating the Albatross, search its drops and collect the Albatross Head. Take the Head back to the islander inside the shop to complete the quest.
You will receive the coordinates for the Volcano Island, which can then be followed using your Radar.
