Island 3, introduces stronger equipment, new fish, cooking and two new quests. The Grill master quest unlocks the Grill, while helping the Tourist provides the bait needed to summon the Pufferfish boss and continue to the next island.

Before completing the island’s quests, visit the shop and check the new equipment. Island 3 sells stronger weapons, including an SMG, alongside ammunition and useful weapon upgrades.
The SMG is a good option for the upcoming fights, especially when paired with extra ammunition and an upgrade such as an extended magazine. However, it is not mandatory, and you can continue using another upgraded ranged weapon if you prefer.
Try to leave the shop with a reliable weapon, plenty of ammunition and enough money for the island’s new bait.

Speak to the Grill master standing beside the Grill. He wants you to bring him a Blue Shark.
Purchase the Standard Boss Lure for $280. Make sure you select the Boss version and not the cheaper pink Standard Lure. Cast it into the water to summon the Blue Shark, then use your ranged weapon to defeat it.
If you need further help, check out our complete How to Unlock the Grill guide.

Find the Tourist sitting beneath one of the palm trees. He will ask you to bring him an endangered creature.
Buy the pink Standard Lure for $15 and fish in the waters surrounding the island. Inspect your catches and look for one marked Endangered. A Seahorse is confirmed to work, but any catch carrying the Endangered tag should be accepted.
Do not sell, cook or eat your endangered catch. Take it directly to the Tourist and he will give you a Carrot.

The Carrot is the bait used to summon the Pufferfish boss, so do not cast it until you are ready. Make sure you have a ranged weapon, plenty of ammunition and cooked food for healing.

If you need help with the battle, check out our complete Pufferfish boss guide before using the Carrot.
After defeating the Pufferfish, look through its drops for the Pufferfish Fin. It resembles part of the fish with an exposed bone, so do not mistake it for the ordinary Meat Chunks.

You can actually cook the Meat Chunks and sell them for big dollar.
Carry the Pufferfish Fin back to the Tourist. He will reward you with the coordinates for Island 4, which can then be followed using your Radar.
