Today we're going to be sharing a 1 - 45 leveling guide for the Pyromancer in Season 10 of Hero Siege. While originally meant for Season 9, it should serve you just fine in the newest season throughout normal mode. We'll go over how to start, the gear loadout recommended, and also the skill spec!
Thanks to @JuxtAPoser for letting us share this build with you! Check out their video on the sidebar, along with other great Hero Siege content from them!
Level 1 - 15
The main skill you'll be leveling on your Pyromancer is Scorching Aura due to the fast area clear and no input needed gameplay. However since this skill isn't available from the get-go, we'll instead be starting off with Breath Of Fire. It's a large cone of fire that can be used great for mobbing and bossing for your first few levels.
When going through the first Act, try to complete any side quests you can. While the quests along the way are completely optional, it's overall recommended to complete them for the extra EXP. Also be sure to complete the Coffee questline early on, as it's widely regarded as one of the best potions for leveling.
Level 16 - 45
Once you hit level 16, respec all of your points and place 1 point back in to Breath Of Fire. From here, you can now start dumping all of your points into the Scorching Aura. This skill must be equipped and then activated to use, but once done will provide you with a large kill-zone in your immediate area.
For the sub-tree points on your Scorching Aura, copy the nodes shown down below into your game.
Past level 15 and assuming SA is fully specced, feel free to grab the passive skills in your tree. This is helpful because when you eventually get some extra plus skills going for you (basically free points into other skills), often times a lot of your skills will scale with them. It doesn't hurt to activate them in the tree when you have some points to throw around.
If you're in need of a movement skill to quickly navigate maps, a great option for this is to run Phoenix Flight, which essentially serves as a massive dash across a large distance, It's risky as you can bump into things, but good overall for traversal.
The sub-tree skills for PF aren't majorly important as it's just a movement skill, but those are also shown below if you want to know what is being ran on this setup.
Once you reach Level 30, a great skill to pick up is Avatar Of Fire, which serves as an awesome way of gaining extra damage, which in turn will then apply to your Scorching Aura. You can think of this skill as your way of buffing up before a boss fight.
If you find yourself struggling to kill things with the build up until this point, you can also invest into using Fire Nova for some backup. Pyro can start to feel a little steep towards the end of the campaign, so this may help you if you find yourself getting some friction.
Lastly, place your remaining points up to 45 in Fiery Presence, as it will grant you a passive boost to all of your Fire Skill Damage. This is of course great because as the Pyromancer, almost every single attack you put out will benefit from this.
Attributes
For your attribute spec you're going to be using an INT/VIT split depending on which one you need more, so pick it up as needed. A solid baseline to remember is that your Intelligence is your skill damage, so feel out the correct balance in the game for yourself. To start with though, consider running:
Intelligence: 124
Vitality: 60
Gear & Charms
This isn't a gear dependant setup, but overall there are some recommendations you can pick up when you reach the trader in Act IV. Here's an overview of some key items we're running when leveling. Remember that anything with All Skills, or Fire Skill Damage will be great to have, even if not Satanic rarity or higher.
Runemaster Mantle: Adds a decent amount of Fire Skill Damage, and also frants extra attribute points. Slot Rubies into this if you can for extra FSD.
Archmagus Glyphward: Does a solid job at providing you with points into Int, in addition to All Skills.
Sorcerer's Surge Grips: Points for Int, and also extra Skill Haste. Also gives a point into All Skills.
Aetherflow Treads: Handy for the increased FSD. Also fives you increased Movement Speed which helps for clearing with your SA.
Flame God's Helmet: Faster Cast Rate, and also buffs to not only your overall Fire Damage, but also your Fire Resistance. Super handy to get as you progress.
Crow's Feather: Obtained naturally during the story, and is great for passive movement speed.
Loot Filter
Here is the loot filter used for this build. To use this filter, you can press pause, and navigate to the loot filter tab. Clicking IMPORT should give you a prompt to enter a code, which when applied will set your loot filter to the one used for this build.
The code is too long to paste, but you can find it here if you wish to use it.
