Fastest Ways To Farm Gold In Hero Siege

Making gold is the core of progression for many players in Hero Siege, as it's the currency needed to trade with other players for items. Some of these items are often far too expensive, especially if you're just starting out in the season. In this guide, we'll go over ways to make money fast in Hero Siege, helping you get your hands on the items you want in no time.

This first method isn't new by any means, stemming back many seasons in the game. While the overall scale of the economy has changed with 900k items going to 90k, or 90k to 900k, one constant has always remained the same: Rats Are Valuable.

Mainly due to being a required item for the Edible PAS Logo, Ahto's Rat is a crafting material that in pretty much all seasons have been worth a decent amount of gold. It's biggest benefit outside of the cost of it is how fast it can be obtained, dropping in the very first map of the game, Outskirts Of Inoya

You'll find the dungeon marked on the map as a glowing yellow cave. Once inside, you simply just need to steamroll every tile in the dungeon, of which the rats will have a chance to drop from. It's very important to note two things before doing this, though.

Firstly, the layout of this dungeon never changes, making it a good idea to memorize the fastest route for you to farm, and also loot the dungeon each time.

Second, make sure you bring a Companion with you. Their large pickup radius for materials means they'll be able to phase through the walls of the dungeon for you, picking up any dropped rats, and freeing you up of the burdon.

One of the most fruitful methods of making money early season is from vendoring. This strat is extremely simple, and basically revolves around one motive: pick up and sell everything

Provided you're filling up your inventory with them and rapidly selling your haul of discarded loot to the vendors, it won't take long before those small gains add up.

This is made even easier with a feature added a while back to Hero Siege, which essentially lets you pick up items from an infinite range, by simply hovering over them and tapping F. With a little practice, your gameplay loop can turn into sprint-clearing maps while spamming pickup, then portalling back to town and selling your haul.

Gems are a special talking point when it comes to making Gold in Hero Siege. On one hand, a large portion of builds in the game will use at least one type of gem in their build. On the other hand, your class choice will entirely dictate which one you'll be needing the most.

For the last few seasons, by far the most popular gem has always been Amethysts, due to their high buffs to Arcane damage. This is information you can use to your advantage not only when deciding which class to play at the start of a season, but also which gems you should be selling.

The lesser sought after Gems like Diamonds also go for a pretty penny, but they pale in comparison. It should also be stated that before you sell your Gem, make sure to visit the crafting machine and combine it into the highest quality possible, instead of selling lower quality cuts.

Mining in Hero Siege has, and always will be one of the most fruitful ways of making money. The biggest reason relates to the player Mining and also Jewelcutting skill. When the season starts, many players are seeking ways to max these stats out so they don't need to rely on buying up their Gems through the market for their builds.

As part of this, players who don't want to spend time doing the boring mining grind instead opt to just buy out the ores from the market instead. You can use this to your advantage, by spending your early-season journey selling stacks of various ores people will be after.

Later on in the season, you can shift your focus to prospected items earned through said ores, such as Jadenium Powder- an extremely sought after material. Not only are these good ways to make Gold, but they can also be boosted by using the Ether Tree.

The right-side branch of your tree has specific nodes dedicated to making mining even more fruitful, such as a node that can give you a chance to drop Gemstones from nodes. If you're dedicated to mining as your way of making Gold, make sure to spec into this tree as soon as you can.

Act Bosses have recently shown their own benefits for making gold when you get into mid-game. The biggest draw here is that not only do a lot of desired items in Hero Siege drop from Act Bosses, so do their parts...

This is particularly good because the parts are needed in order to craft the Key Of Terror, which is required in order to progress one of the more mandatory quests in Nightmare mode. In previous seasons this was one of the most solid ways to get Gold, and it doesn't look like it will be changing any time soon.

It's also important to note that your Ether Tree can also increase the drop chance for these parts, making this farm way less of a grind than others found on this list. This also gets way more profitable if you decide to go all the way and make the actual key, which sells for an incredible amount of Gold.

While it might not be the fastest way due to the general scarcity of the item, it should be noted that Bifrost Keys are, and have almost always been a solid method of earning Gold. The intended use for them is to take them to the Astral Encampment and open the gate in the corner, but players have found a more fruitful use for this key.

In almost every season of Hero Siege, you can reliably take 30 - 50k Gold per key. This is of course all dependant on the season, and worth noting that the price mentioned is entirely economy-based, meaning 30k can sometimes be a lot, or nothing at all based on when you're playing.

You can also get a key 60% of the time from doing your Bounty Board quest in the Town Of Inoya. You get this opportunity every 24 hours, meaning you are essentially earning 1 key per day, helping you with all other forms of Gold farming mentioned on this list... Don't pass this one up.
