Ether Tree

The strategy to efficiently find and farm Uber Luna is made possible in one of two ways.

The first method which is a pure chance strategy is inside the Ether Tree allowing you to locate and access an Unstable Rift with a 100% Chance in any Overworld Map.

This is made possible by taking the Summoner of Rifts node in the Ether Tree which guarantees at least 1x Unstable Rift spawn in whichever Overworld Map you happen to be in.

There is a very small chance that it will take you to Vanaheim which the location you need to get access in order to start the process of facing off against Uber Luna.

Note: I recommend Act 1 maps for less danger whilst locating the Unstable Rifts

The second more consistent method is to use a Bifrost Key at the alter in the top right of the Astral Encampment to access the Bifrost which offers two locations at including Chao Towers, Uber Bosses Asgard, Sheeponia, Niflheim, Mists of Souls, Ruby Garden and Vanaheim.

Vanaheim

When you first arrive in Vanaheim there will be a small area to clear with 2x Chests and a few enemies before you find Prophet Luna at the top who you shall need to talk to.

She will give you a prophecy which comes down to killing X number of Monsters before you shall receive a specific item which is always a heroic item or above.

One you have completed the task of killing the designed number of monsters you will be offered a portal back to Vanaheim which will again allow you to work your way up to Prophet Luna to talk to her.

You will be expecting to receive your reward at this point however she becomes possessed and after a short conversation turns on you, enters a battle arena where you shall have to face off against Possessed Luna.

Uber Luna

There are a few moves that Uber Luna uses that you will want to be careful of if you aren't able to instantly delete him which would require a very high amount of damage since he has around 214 Billion HP in Inferno Difficulty.

These include:

Crystal Ball (Fires a crystal ball at the player that splits into smaller bouncing orbs on landing)
Black Hole (Spawns a black hole that damages players if nearby)
Starshower (A rainfall style move that shows dangers zones by red templates)
Cosmic Winds (A gust of wind from top to bottom causing stationary crystal orbs to fly around)
Starstruck (2x Walls on either side of the arena with a gap to avoid being hit)
