In Hero Siege the real game begins once you hit the Max Level of 100 and gain access to the Incarnation Tree which is tied to a secondary progression system known as Hero Levels.
These can feel very slow to achieve to begin with but with these 3 Strategies below you will be raising your Hero Level in no time.
Chaos Towers
When you first hit Level 100 you gain access to the Ether Tree for the first time which is essentially a way of Juicing Up mechanics that spawn in the game maps as you enter Nightmare Difficulty and above.
To start with you only get 9 Ether Points which limits you greatly what you can do in this tree and in most cases doesn't allow you to gain enough access to Mechanic Benefits to really be worth it.
It is suggested to start with Chaos Towers early on because you are more likely to see this at the start with a base 50% Spawn Chance and they can spawn groups of enemies that have the BloatingAffix which drop a lot of little purple XP blobs.
Below is the recommended starting tree for Chaos Towers once you hit Level 100:
It's worth noting that it is generally best practice toSkip Mythic Chaos Towers because they require a Chaos Key to access and those are better kept for Chaos Towers with the Satanicand Angelic rarity.
Colossal Chests
Once you've gained a few Hero Levels and are comfortably able to farm Hell Mode the Best Levelling Strategy swaps to using the Overworld Ether Tree and farming Colossal Chests repeatedly for Huge XP.
This is currently the absolute best levelling strategy because if you farm the right zones you can find and complete the Colossal Chest very quickly. You can rinse and repeat this strategy and with luck the enemies will spawn a huge number of Bloating XP which is why it's so lucrative.
To start using this strategy you will need the Ready To Popnode in the Overworld Ether Treewhich requires 17 Ether Points to access so you would of had to gain access to some additional Ether Tree Points via the Ether Quests shown in the Quests Menu.
Below is the recommended Overworld Ether Tree to start with:
Below are a few zones you can actively farm for these chests:
King's Garden
Pyramid Level 1
Misty Swamp
Steam Train
To start with it is recommended to farm King's Garden as this is considering the Safer option being an earlier game zone which looks like the following:
Aim to get the Discovery RangeNodes as soon after gaining access to the Ready To Popnode to help find the Colossal Chestquicker and focus on rinse repeating the chest to maximise XP gain.
Once you feel comfortable enough farming in Misty Swampthis is currently deemed the most optimal location to farm its Colossal Chest due to the zone size and layout being less difficult to traverse as well as the enemies generally being better to farm with more average Bloating Affix enemies than other locations.
The Misty Swamp location looks as the following:
By using the strategy you should gain Hero Levels in no time as well as a chance of Higher Tier Items.
Unstable Rifts
If you're looking for something else to run that isn't the Colossal Cheststrategy which brings in a decent amount of experience then Unstable Riftsin Satanic Zones are currently one of the better middle ground options available.
You would only need 12 Ether Points to get started with this strategy by investing into the Discovery Range Nodesand they have a number of different outcomes it can send you to when you enter it ranging from sending you to a more fruitful version of the location it spawned in, Challenge Dungeons, Chaos Towers and even Special Zones such as Sheeponia, Vanaheimand Azgard.
Below is what an Unstable Riftlooks like in a Satanic Zone:
Benefits of farming Unstable Rift's include Increased XP and Increased Magic Find as well as gaining access to areas without the need for Keys such as Challenge Dungeons.
