How to Get the Lumen Sword in Crimson Desert Charting the Unknown

The Lumen Sword is a one-handed weapon with a glowing pink blade, giving it a lightsaber-like appearance. You can find it inside a hidden chest in underwater ruins in Crimson Desert’s Charting the Unknown DLC.

Reaching the chest involves locating an offshore trench, finding a concealed cave entrance and swimming through the ruins to an upper room.

Prepare your diving equipment before setting out. Our Crimson Desert underwater exploration guide covers breathing capacity and the basics of exploring beneath the surface.

Open your map and locate the South Sea label. Look northeast of the label for a small cluster of islands.

Use the island marked in the image below as your reference point. From that island, travel a short distance north-northwest into the surrounding water.

Dive at this location and look for a trench that drops below the surrounding seabed. This trench leads towards the concealed entrance to the ruins.

Descend into the trench while facing south. Near the bottom, inspect the rock wall for a small cave entrance tucked around a corner.

The opening is easy to miss, so follow the wall carefully once you reach the deeper section of the trench.

Swim through the entrance and follow the passage until you reach the underwater ruins. Keep an eye on your remaining oxygen while navigating the tunnel and leave yourself enough air to return.

Once you reach the ruins, enter the structure and look for an opening leading upwards.

Swim through this hole to reach the higher level. Search the corner of the upper room for a hidden chest, then open it to collect the Lumen Sword.
