All Collectibles Ancient Civilization Zone Guide

This guide will walk you through the fastest route to collect every collectible in the Ancient Civilization Zone.

Some collectibles are obtained automatically through story progression, but we'll still point them out so you don't miss anything needed for 100% completion. If you miss anything, you can return after finishing the main story to collect anything you've left behind.

Ancient Civilization Zone

As soon as you enter the Ancient Civilization Zone, head into the first building on your right. Inside you'll find your first Recipe.

Before leaving, check the back left corner of the room to pick up the Potato Crop Seedling.

Continue through the area and climb onto the stacked containers using Emma's Hair. At the top of the stairs you'll find the first Shrine.

From the Shrine, look over to the platform on your left and use Emma's Hair to cross the gap. Speak with the first Keeper Golem before continuing.

Central Area

Now make your way over to this part of the map.

Continue along the main path until you reach the first Campsite. This one is impossible to miss as you progress through the story.

Now Head to the eastern side of the map.

Here will be the first Elite Malefact. If it isn't there, you've likely already defeated it.

Continue through the story until you descend via the lift into the large arena. This is where you'll encounter the area's Elite Golem.

Continue north to activate the second Campsite.

From there, grapple up the ledges behind you using Emma's Hair to find the Tomato Crop Seedling underneath the tree.

Just behind it you'll also find the second Keeper Golem.

Northern Area

Continue along the main story until you reach the next Campsite.

Keep progressing through the Ancient Civilization Zone and you'll come across another Campsite near the northern section of the map.

Continue a little further to activate another Campsite. These are all found naturally as you progress through the story, but it's worth resting at each one.

Before leaving this area, activate the final Campsite in this section.

Continue through the collapsed rubble and take the lift up.

Central Area

Once you reach the top, turn left and head into the room behind the burning debris to find the second Recipe.

Keep progressing until you enter the flooded underground chamber.

Head to the back left corner of the room to activate the second Shrine.

Continue following the main path until you reach the next Campsite.

Head through this large area. There may be an enemy. If so, kill it.

Make your way across using Emma's Hair or the bridge around the side.

In the center of the platform you'll find the Mech Blade weapon.

Continue to the very back of the same platform to examine the Lore Painting. This collectible is missable, so make sure to interact with it before leaving.

Return to the flooded arena and head up the stairs on the left. Near the top you'll find the Yearning for the Surface document, which is located along the main story path.

Continue onwards until you reach the next Campsite.

Eastern Area

This is the location for the second Elite Malefact.

From here, use Emma's Hair to climb onto the bridge above.

The second Elite Malefact patrols this bridge. If you're struggling, ranged attacks make this fight much easier.

Cross the bridge after defeating the Elite Malefact and continue forward to activate the third and final Shrine.

Northeastern Area

Keep following the story to the very top of the Ancient Civilization Zone where you'll find the final Campsite. A merchant is located just beside it.
