This guide will explain how to skip time and how to ensure you do so in the correct spot.
To skip time from dark to light or from rain to sun, Edward has to be in the right spot to do so. Skipping time will NOT be an option if you are;
Basically anywhere but on the coast, HOWEVER, certain areas on the coast can also be a little tricky to allow time to skip. You can't have Edward be too close to the sea, too close to a rock or sticks, or too close to an animal, we should call this guy Goldilocks at this point!
To trigger the option for skipping time, you will want to briefly hold the right d-pad button and you will see the bottom right graphics show a sun, it will flash red if Edward isn't in an appropriate spot, but if it is suitable for him, Edward will sit down where he is, and time will begin to pass.
So if this doesn't happen first time for you even if you think you're in the right place, move a step or two to the left or right around and keep trying, once you get used to where Edward is happy to sit, it will get easier to skip time throughout your gameplay.
