Aniimo is a free-to-play RPG where players can battle and capture Aniimo while exploring the vast world of Idyll, meeting other players and Pathfinders during their adventure.
Dreaple is a unique Dark Aniimo that won't spawn in the world by default, as it requires completing a quest to be unlocked. It is a great Support Aniimo that will make a good addition to your party and Aniilog!
In this article, you'll learn everything about Dreaple, including how to get it, its abilities, and best uses.
Before you can catch and unlock Dreaple, you must complete the Sleeping Flock event. This requires you to twin with a Nimbi and sleep with the other Nimbi in the area.
Sleeping Flock Event
You can start the Sleeping Flock event just northeast of the First Spark Shrine, on the southeast coast of the Nimbus Fields region.
Once you arrive there, you'll see a group of sleeping Nimbi nearby. Twine with a Nimbi of your own to complete the event and get a Lumin Amber.
Catch 30 Emberpup-line Aniimo to Spawn Dreaple
After completing the Sleeping Flock event, you must capture 30 Aniimo of the Emberpup line, which also includes Flameruff, Scorchhowl and Inferlupa. After doing so, you'll receive a notification that Dreaple has spawned, but only the first time.
To spawn Dreaple again, you'll need to capture another 30 Emberpup-line Aniimos, but you will not receive any further notifications.
Capture Dreaple at its location
When you capture 30 Emberpup-line Aniimo, Dreaple will spawn at a specific location in the Nimbus Fields:
As Dreaple is sleeping, it is always guaranteed capture.
Unlock Dreaple Evolution
To unlock Dreaple as an evolution for Nimbi, you must complete the following requirements:
Nimbi must be Level 21
You must have the Dreamsong passive talent. This is Student II level Talent.
Nimbi must have rested a night with you. This can be quickly done by taking your Nimbi out of the Aniipod and advancing the time from night to day. If done correctly, you'll see a notification saying "A remarkable change is about to happen", which indicates you've fulfilled one of the conditions for the evolution.
Evolving Nimbi to Dreaple costs 3 Night Stones.

Combat Skills
Counting Sheep (Trait): Every 10s, the next skill applies 1 stack of [Drowsiness] to the target. At 3 stacks, the target enters [Nightmare] for 20s. Targets in [Nightmare] have their Dark Resistance reduced by -35% of ATK and cannot move or cast skills for 3s. Taking damage removes the control effect.
Nightmare Devourer: Restores 5% HP to this Aniimo and nearby allies, then absorbs [Nightmare] from nearby targets. Each absorbed [Nightmare] status increases healing by 2%, up to 3 stacks.
Hypnotic Cloud Shot: Fires a Hypnotic Cloud Shot at the target. After it explodes, it deals damage to targets in the area and applies 1 stack of Drowsiness.
Nimbi Attack: Summons a Nimbi that follows the caster, damaging targets in its path and applying 1 stack of [Drowsiness]. When hitting the caster, the Nimbi charges back toward the target.
Dream Blast (Ultimate): Deals damage to targets in range and applies 2 stacks of [Drowsiness]. Increases the whole team’s Dark damage by 25% of ATK for 30s.
Best Uses for Dreaple
Dreaple is a support Aniimo that can apply the Drowsiness and Nightmare status effects, which reduce enemies' Dark Resistance and immobilizes them for 3 seconds.
It can also restore HP to the whole party with its skill Nightmare Devourer. You should use Dreaple to apply Nightmare to several nearby enemies, then use Nightmare Devourer to regenerate a large chunk of HP for the whole team.
