This weapon is said to have served as a charm against evil spirits in times of old.

Grave Scythe doesn't come with innate Ash of War (Weapon Skill) in Elden Ring: Nightreign, meaning it can be found in the world of Limveld as a random drop from chests or rewards for killing bosses. This means, that Grave Scythe can come with any Ash of War that is available for Reaper. This also means that the damage types it deals and even status ailment buildup can be randomized each run.
