Blazing Scream Leveling

The Blazing Scream Warlock Leveling Build Guide teaches you about Gear, Skills, Paragon, Playstyle & Seasonal Mechanics in Diablo 4 Season 13.

Incinerate your enemies by filling up the screen with powerful Blazing Scream fiery skulls that ricochet off walls while spawning even more homing skulls with Skull Splitter Blazing Scream. Nothing can escape that.

This guide is work in progress and more updates are coming in as we get more information closer to the Lord of Hatred launch.

Levels 1–24

• Keep up your Vanguard Shard Demon, Summon Abodian. He also has an active skill that will mount you up and provide you with Movement Speed.
• Use Hellion Sting to generate resources and Eviscerate enemies.
• Cast Blazing Scream as often as your Wrath allows.
• • Try to aim it so that it continously bounces to generate multiple hits per cast.
• Nether Step provides you with survivability and more movement speed.
• Dark Prison allows you to group up enemies where you please.
• Cast Sigil of Chaos when possible to get Volatility.
• • Volatility has a 50% chance to Empower Hellfire Skills by [x]50%.

Levels 25-35

• You will now use Metamorphosis, which you will want to always keep up.
• Molten Bomb is used instead of Hellion Sting for Wrath regeneration.

Levels 36+

• Demonic Smash Rampage is unlocked and will allow you to leap for more mobility.
• • This is limited by your Dominance generation so use it sparingly.

Blazing Scream is a skill with fantastic reach as it bounces of walls and generates homing projectiles with Skull Splitter Blazing Scream. This even gives it the ability to clear monsters offscreen!

Because Skill Variants get unlocked at different Levels we will be making the following changes as we level:

• Level 25
• • Dark Prison -> Metamorphosis
  • Nether Step -> Nothing
• Level 36
• • Nothing -> Rampage

Once we are done unlocking all the Skill Variants our Skill Point priority is the following:

1. Metamorphosis
2. 1. This Skill is incredibly powerful as it provides its Ranks to all other Hellfire Skills while active.
2. Blazing Scream
3. 1. Our main damage skill.
3. Molten Bomb.
4. 1. We will be casting this fairly often early on to keep up our Wrath.
4. Rampage.
5. 1. Although we will use this sparingly, it has an incredibly potent Eviscerate bleed that it applies to Elites and Bosses.
5. Sigil of Chaos.
6. 1. Not very important, our remaining points go here.
