Build Overview

This Stinger Spiritborn focuses on optimising the Lightning Damage boosted by the Rod of Kepeleke in combination with Maximum Resource Scaling whilst staying tanky enough to beat all End Game Content. It does this through the following:

FAQ

If you have any questions about this guide feel free to reach out to me whilst live on Twitch, YouTube, Kick or X or contact me offline via my Discord.

How much Resource Generation Do I need?

With the reduction of Resource Generation Sources across the board it has now become more difficult to enable you to activate the Rod of Kepeleke on Every Single Hit which is where our Big Damage comes from.

The Easiest way to achieve this is to use the Ring of the Midnight Sun which escaped the Resource Source Nerfs and can still Restore 50% Resource Spent in the Last 2 Seconds on a Critical Strike. The pairs excellently with the Rod of Kepeleke because this will spend 100% when at Maximum Resource to guarantee a Critical Strike.

This means that we need to achieve 100% Resource Generation on the build along with a Maximum Rolled Ring of the Midnight Sun at 50% to enable a 100% Activation Rate when attacking with the Rod of Kepeleke.

You can obtain the Resource Generation required from various sources including:

    • Intelligence
    • Resource Generation Affixes
    • Resource Generation Tempers
    • Vigor Generation Ravager

How Much Attack Speed Do I Need?

Aim for 100% Attack Speed from the following sources:

    • Ferocity
    • Equipment Affixes
    • Offensive Temper Affixes
    • Paragon Nodes
    • Varyana Primary Mercenary (if you're struggling)

Exactly why am I using Loop of the Moonrise for starter build? Where is a basic skill being used?

Vyvern•1d ago

You basically "need" Rod of Kepeleke for the starter Build already. Then Stinger counts as a Basic Skill

Does anyone know why jagged plume is i this paragon. It doesn't generate storm feathers dies it?

I feel like I'm doing something wrong here and I may have sorted out what it is. Am I right to say that I really need to make sure that I don't have some stray affix that's pushing another resistance above my Lightning resistance? I'm assuming that the point is to have that as your main resist since we're adding gems to augment it and Stone of Jordan's ability. Right?

Please tell me, why the resource cost reduction?
I don't understand how to calculate damage

0
G
GrimGun•5d ago

Resource cost reduction interacts with Rod of Kepeleke. The cost reduction acts like a separate multiplier of the damage.

I have to ask: are we using Insight or Rod of Kepeleke???

0

Mike•7d ago

Both, insight as the main weapon and rod as a charm.

Where does the thunder’s god blessing come into play in the build. It’s in the description but not apart of the planner?
