Word of Hakan, Skyhunter and Beastfall Boots are mandatory.

Although a 10 second Rain of Arrows Cooldown after Vehement Brawler is basically mandatory. To be able to get away with less due to gearing issues you can use Poc + Zec to make your Rain of Arrows Cooldown requirement 11.0 seconds. This is because Zec will reduce your Rain of Arrows Cooldown by 0.1 seconds per Maximum Energy every Barrage cast. With 150 Maximum Energy that's 1.5 seconds.

Also, 150 Maximum Energy is needed so your Barrage procs Preparation twice and reduces your Rain of Arrow's Cooldown by 10 seconds. An Elixir of Resourcefulness can help meet this requirement.

If you can't meet these requirements no matter how hard you try what you can do is include Shard of Verathiel in the build and swap Barrage for Heartseeker. That's what the Starter variant is.

Because we don't really need the grouping up power of Piranhado, we utilize The Cycle to help meet the 3 Growth and Decay requirement of Friend of the Bog. For our last 2 Growth and Cycle Witchcraft Powers we use Siphoning Aura and Soul Harvest which gives an unreal amount of Dexterity.

Purging Touch is used because it's also enabled by Voice of the Stars.

Lastly, Force of Will is used for a bit more damage.

Zan is used with Vex to give us 3 Ranks of Rain of Arrows and Dark Shroud.

Poc is used to keep up Ohm for 15% more damage.

It's important to run Elixirs and Incenses at all times. Not only because they increase our XP gain but also because they provide very strong combat boosts.

Elixir: We use Elixir of Resourcefulness to get to 150 Maximum Energy early on once we can reach that magical value without it we will use Elixir of Precision to get more Critical Strike Damage.

Core Stat Incense: We will always use Queen's Supreme, the 100 Dexterity Incense.

Defensive Incense: We will always use Song of the Mountain to boost up our Armor.

Resistance Incense: We will always use Soothing Spices.

To explain what Attack Speed Breakpoints are we first need to understand how the game works.

• The server operates at a fixed 60 FPS, irrespective of your ingame FPS.
• Because casts can only take a discrete amount of frames to go off this leads to the existence of breakpoints.
• A cast can't take between X.01 and X.99 frames. For example, Attack Speed values that should lead to a cast speed between 20.01 to 20.1 will all lead to 21 frames.
• Because the server runs at 60 FPS we can find our real cast speed by calculating 60/Frames. For example, if your Heartseeker cast takes 15 frames, that translates to 60/15 = 4 attacks per second.

This Sheet lets you calculate your Attack Speed Breakpoint for various skills.

Something to keep in mind is that two Masterworking crits on an affix are worth the same as Greater Affix.

On this build we want to reach the 14 Frame Barrage Bow breakpoint (115.9% Attack Speed).

Why Beastfall Boots?

To spend 150 Energy which reduces Rain of Arrows Cooldown by 10 seconds with Preparation. This allows us to fully reset its cooldown.
