The Gorilla Spiritborn Leveling Build makes one with the monkey, as you fly around smashing enemies with
Rock Splitter proccing your Thorns damage on hit. You have incredible mobility, toughness and damage with this build and will cruise to level 70 with no issues. No Legendary Aspects are required to make this function well, making it a great starter build.

We take
Gorilla for the Thorns Multiplier that syngergizes with
Shattered Stone Rock Splitter.
The secondary Jaguar power helps us stack Ferocity for mega Attack Speed.
Equipment

The most important to upgrade along the way is your weapon by far. Constantly equip weapon upgrades and consider tossing a cheap Tempering on them to increase your damage.
It's unlikely to come across many of these Legendary Aspects while Leveling up. Luckily you don't need any of them to level with ease. Use whatever you have that helps in anyway and look out for the ones listed in the planner. Always put the strongest Aspect you find on your Amulet or Weapon for the boost to it's power.
Most of your items along the way aren't going to have 4 stats on them and It's usually more important to equip upgrades as opposed to chasing the suggested bonuses. To put it simply you want to be looking out for:
Offensive
- Dexterity
- Damage (or Vulnerable Damage)
- Critical Hit Chance
- Critical Hit Damage
- Attack Speed
Defensive
- Life
- Life on Hit
- Life on Kill
- Thorns
- Armor
- Resistances
- Movement Speed
Tempering
In general you can Temper decent items for cheap early on and can put Damage, Thorns or Toughness options. Keep in mind It's common to replace items often while leveling up, so it may be wise to hold off on Tempering all together until you're around level 50+ to save time spent in town as well as materials.
Talismans

Skill Tree
0 (0)Mercenary
Subo is hard to beat since he gives you a Map Hack, Movement Speed and Vulnerability.
Aldkin is your Reinforcement because Fields of Languish gives you 20% Damage Reduction when standing in the purple cloud it creates. You have to level with him a bit to unlock this skill - until then use Haunt.
How it Plays
Spam
Rock Splitter as your primary source of Damage. It's a generator so you can spam it infinite and have no concern for resources.
Use
Soar to jump from pack to pack.
Cast
Ravager to gain Ferocity and help generate more Resolve stacks.
Armored Hide gives you Resolve stacks, Barrier and more Thorns Damage. When you have it up Evade through packs of enemies to smash them with an AOE Thorns Blast.
Scourge is used to apply Weaken and Vulnerable, make sure to get this up on Elites and Bosses Especially. The Poison damage it provides isn't too shabby either.
Get
The Protector down whenever you're fighting Elites or Bosses to smash them to pieces.
How it Works
You're stacking Resolve stacks, Thorns and Ferocity to become a rapidly punching, high toughness killing machine. There are several Aspects you can find to boost your Toughness and Damage tremendously so be on the look out for the ones in the planner above.
