Necromancer Bonespear leveling

Bonespear is a solid mid to late-game build that'll have you cruising through levels and clearing high nightmare dungeons with ease!

1. Decrepify elites to reduce their movement and damage.
2. Cast Tendrils to group enemies
3. Spam Bonespear
4. Cast Corpse Explosion when low on resource
5. Bloodmist when crowd controlled

Bonespear has some pretty outrageous scaling and can quickly become an instant enemy begone button without super high gear requirements!

This makes it an excellent choice for mid-game to early late-game as you finish your levels at start farming for your endgame gear.

How It Works

Bonespear Is passively an extremely powerful ability with many synergistic passive in the skill tree to bolster damage output dramatically.

There is a trick to maximizing this damage though, you'll need to consistently be aiming to hit enemies with the returning Bonespear shards.

So look to catch enemies with close to max range or look to rebound the Bonespear of a wall behind them, this will result in some very satisfying damage output!

Malignant Hearts

First is the Barber No surprise here it's the best in the game by far when it comes to DPS.

Second Revenge Again no surprise here as it's another mainstay for every class this season. It provides a hefty damage reduction bonus.

Thirdly Sacrilegious and this is one of my personal favorites out of all the classes this season. This heart will automatically cast Corpse Explosion & Corpse Tendrils when you walk past a corpse! better still it does not trigger the cooldowns for these abilities and casts very frequently. Not only is this fantastic for damage output but thanks to some of our passive we also gain other benefits such as resource regen and movement speed!

Staying Alive!

This is a truly ranged build so naturally you're further from damage and you'll want to take advantage of this by being mindful of your positioning. If enemies start to close in on you, don't forget to use Decrepify To slow their advance and reduce their damage.

However, when things get spicy you can rely on Blood Mist to get you out of some sticky situations.

Blood Mist Can break crowd control effects like being frozen and make you immune to damage for a short time.

My recommendation is to hold onto this ability until the very last moment as it has a cooldown and cannot be spammed easily.

In addition to the above, we're made extremely tanky from a combination of Bone Storm, Aspect Of The Sheilding Storm & Osseous Gale

The way this works is that our Ultimate Bonestorm now generates a temporary barrier when active, protecting us from damage, and in addition to this the duration is greatly increased as we walk by the corpse of falling enemies.

You'll want to be keeping this up as much as possible but especially make sure to have your Ultimate ready for the tougher fights.

Uniques

Luckily this build does not need uniques but can utilize a couple very well.
Deathless Visage provides an excellent boost to Bonespears damage and even provides a nice armor bonus too.
