Wolves (The Overseer)

HARDCORE FRIENDLY: THE PACK IS BACK! Wolves is shaping up to be a top tier build for Druid in Season 9. Dire Wolf's aspect has been changed to the utility slot, and we'll be running wild with Grizzly Rage dealing massive damage. The new seasonal mechanic Horadric Spells will be adding a ton of damage through the Shepherd's Aspect. After many seasons of bug fixes and buffs Wolves is finally ready for the spotlight!

BUG:

• (FIXED) Cosmic Anomaly doesn't count towards your summon total for Shepherds Aspect
• (FIXED) Aspect of the Alpha not effecting the Active damage of Wolves skill

Hardcore Pit Clear: 100+

• Cast Maul and use Emotes/Teleport to build Shift Buffs before casting Grizzly Rage (Claw will still be your Basic Skill in dire form)
• Cast Grizzly Rage
• Spam Cast Wolves for big damage
• Cast Blood Howl for damage and damage reduction

To really get your Wolves Companion build going you're going to need a good pair of Storm's Companion pants. This adds a few tags to your Wolves skill that allows access to big damage multipliers. On top of that, we'll be using Dire Wolf form and build out duration for 100% uptime on Grizzly Rage.

Heir of Perdition and Shroud of False Death will further juice up your damage and damage reduction making T4 content and Pit farming a breeze. The new Horadric Spells will give us access to a lot of utility so be sure to do your Seasonal Quests ASAP!

Once the basic framework of the build is assembled the playstyle is pretty straightforward. Build your Quickshift and Heightened Senses buffs with Claw and Maul (or emotes) then cast Grizzly Rage. After that you're just going to spam cast Wolves which will deal damage.

Grizzly Rage shouldn't fall off as you can now refresh the duration while in Dire form.
