Build Overview

This is a fast and deadly boss killer build that relies on staying in Werewolf form using the Tempest Roar Unique. Damage is done by "Double Dipping" and applying multiple poison stacks using Tornado.

  • How it Plays

    1. Pop your Earthen Bulwark
    2. Activate Hurricane
    3. Activate Blood Howl
    4. Spam Tornado till the enemy is stacked with Poison
    5. Use Shred to one shot Lilith by proccing Blurred Beast

    How it Works

This build will have spirit issues if you misplay. Playing without a generator is fine but requires you to understand how spirit is generated in the build. Hurricane is a huge source of mana for the build, every critical strike will generate spirit and all source of spirit gets increased with the resource generation affix on your rings and totem. As long as you don’t spam Shred/Tornado without hitting enemies, you shouldn’t suffer. It feels pretty bad at the start while you are inexperienced, but it gets better as you get used to the build.

The new unique Tibault's Will should help with your resource generation, so be sure to spam these Earthen Bulwarks when you need more resources and the same goes for your Dashes which will now help generate even more resources when combined with the Vampiric Power Metamorphosis

Double Dipping is our main source of Damage, we apply poison with Tornado thanks to the passive Toxic Claws (+2 on the amulet is very important) and the poison will pop thanks to the Blurred Beast Aspect. When the pop happens, your Shred will have dealt more damage than normal and that damage will provide even more poison. Repeating this process will increase our damage to Infinity. Every source of multiplier that affects poison will also likely dip twice and massively increase our damage.

Note: Grizzly Rage is not a core part of the build anymore after the nerfs!

    Core Skill

The main core skill we use in this build is Shred. It’s kind of a special skill because it requires a fine touch from the player, the Blurred Beast Aspect will only activate if your Shred dashes and this only happens when you are not in melee range of the target. Therefore, to play this build it will require you to perform an Orb Walk similarly to how you would play an AD Carry in a MOBA.

This build also uses Tornado not as a source of damage, but to stack Poison. Shred is still our main source of damage.

    Ultimate

We do not play an Ultimate in this build after the nerfs to Grizzly Rage

    Keystone

Nature’s Fury is the core of this build, the ability to reset our Bulwark is what makes the build good, it provides us with full uptime of all our defensive abilities and activates Tibault's Will. The extra skills from Nature's Fury count as Storm Skills, meaning they also count as werewolf skills granting us resources.

    Defense

This build has a lot of defense and a ton of damage reduction on top of that we use Earthen Bulwark as a source of shield for our build

Druid in general has a lot of defensive passives on the skill tree and also playing Hurricane will provide an additional 20% Damage reduction.

    Requirements

    • Tibault's Will
    • 1x Rings with resource Generation (high rolls)
    • Tempest Roar
    • Blurred Beast Aspect
    • Good crit chance rolls on all items, since crits are your only source of resource generation.

    Mana Issues

If you are having mana issues the common problem is the lack of enough resource generation and critical strike chance. You have two options:
    1) Introduce a generator and get rid of your least favorite skill.
    2) Get more crit chance or more Resource Generation.

    Tempest Roar

For this build it’s only possible to play with Tempest Roar as Hurricane and Tornado are a core part of the build.

    Tips and Tricks

    • Always activate your Hurricane or you will run out of resources
    • Practice playing the build with a generator and remove the generator when you learn to play without it.
    • This build has a really high skill cap, a good Shred Player will do several times more damage than a starter player.
    • Learn to Orb walk to pop your Blurred Beast Aspect

    Boss Killer / Nightmare Dungeons

This build should be great at killing bosses, it's built with that goal in mind. It's also really good at Nightmare Pushing but overall it's not where it shines.

For doing Nightmare Dungeons you can remove Cyclone Armor/Bulwark for Storm Strike until you are more experienced with the build.
