This build has requires ZERO resource management and uses Greatstaff of the Crone!

This build is amazing on a controller!

Dash through the screen slashing enemies and destroying them with Claw. You'll never be short on resources which means you can endlessly spam without pause. This encapsulates the melee bruiser playstyle perfectly! It's especially nice for people that hate visual clutter or struggle to avoid ground AoE due to noisy ability VFX.

  • Wolves is used for a passive 40% Attack Speed boost.
  • Grizzly Rage passively buffs our damage by 200%[x] when it stacks fully.
  • Cyclone Armor is a large passive amount of Resistance to All Elements and does not need to be on the skill bar due to Berú of the Storm Shepherd.
  • Lightning Storm can be toggled on for passive AoE damage.
  • Que Rune allows Earthen Bulwark to be used automatically without being on the skill bar for a massive passive Barrier, maximum Overpower stacks, and maximum Resolve stacks.
  • Debilitating Roar gives a large Damage Reduction to enemies hit and 20% Maximum Life to us for the duration.
  • Claw is used for mobility and damage.
  • Calm Before the Storm will help reduce the Cooldown of Grizzly Rage.
  • Iron Feather can be used instead of Overload for more survivability.

Important Notes

  • Greatstaff of the Crone is required for this build to function!
  • Increased Gem Bonuses is the ideal Transfigure for Greatstaff of the Crone. Everything else can be Transfigured with the Entropic Tuning Prism to prevent bricking items.
  • Gar Rune can be swapped for Vex Rune if your Critical Strike Chance is maxed.
  • Any defensive Aspects can be used in place of Heir of Perdition such as Aspect of Heavenly Strength or you can use Godslayer Crown for additional damage and pull.

Important Notes

  • Prioritize getting all Legendary Nodes before all else. Example: Survival Instincts
  • Prioritize all Glyphs to level 15 before going higher unless you cannot equip the next Glyph yet.
  • Prioritize all Glyphs to level 50 before going higher on any.

Important Notes

  • Subo is primarily being used to make enemies visible on the map which makes target aquisition easier for Claw dashes.
  • Varyana can be used to get additional healing with Taste of Flesh.

How it Plays

Skill Rotations

  1. Activate Hurricane to begin marking enemies with Paingorger's Gauntlets and Weaken.
  2. Activate Grizzly Rage to increase damage.
  3. Focus elite mobs or the center of enemy packs.
  4. Dash into enemies and begin killing them with Claw.
  5. Cast Debilitating Roar to reduce enemy damage and buff Maximum Life as needed.
  6. Finish of any enemies with Claw and dash to the next pack.

Additional Notes

  • Earthen Bulwark, Cyclone Armor, and Wolves are all passive and should never be used.
  • Cyclone Armor can be used to push enemies away in a pinch.

How it Works

This build utilizes various synergies related to buffing Basic, Werebear, Storm, Lightning, and Nature Magic to deal way more damage than normal!

  • Greatstaff of the Crone is the primary catalyst of the build. It gives Lightning Claw Claw, Dash Claw, and Viper Strikes Claw for free allowing for many synergies and very good mobility.
  • We're changing Claw into a Werebear skill to allow for synergies with Might of the Ursine primarily and other such as Survival Instincts.
  • Berú of the Storm Shepherd also synergizes with Werebear form to give additional damage and damage reduction.
  • We're stacking Maximum Resolve stacks to buff Might of the Ursine as much as possible. This is a pivotal part of the damage scaling in this build.
  • We're also using Aspect of Glynn's Anvil to take advantage of those Resolve stacks.
  • Hurricane damage will mark enemies with Paingorger's Gauntlets and allow for significant AoE improvements along with damage.
  • The rest of the kit increases damage and survivability in various ways as well.

  • Several changes across the build. Spirit boons, Runes, Tempers, Affixes, etc.
