Build Overview

This build combines the power of Blessed Hammer with Arbiter of Justice to create an incredibly mobile build with fantastic AOE. You're like a snowball going down hill, once you get it going you become virtually unstoppable.

It excels at speed farming, but is also a contender for the top spot on the Tower Leaderboard. The only hangup this build has is when fighting Bosses, if they're at or above your power level it can be hard to not deplete your Faith before killing them.

I recommend always doing content that is at or one Tier below what feels "hard." With that being said, once you reach a state of: properly Tempered Gear, Greater Affixs, Masterworked Ancestrals and Mythic Uniques you can easily dominate Torment 12 and The Pit beyond Tier 100.

You can transition into this build with ease by following our Arbiter Hammerdin Leveling Guide.

The 2 most important Unique Items are Herald's Morningstar and Argent Veil you can check out our Boss Loot Table Guide to see where you can target farm these items. Temerity is incredibly for Toughness and Judgment of Auriel is a great Damage/Toughness item. Remember you can use the Kullean Tuning Prism to Transfigure a Legendary Aspect on your Amulet!

Affixs

The primary goal is stacking your Critical Chance to as close to 100% as you can get it then dumping as much into Critical Hit Damage as possible. Fanaticism Aura and the Gar Rune are going to get you far. But you'll need to pick up Critical Hit Chance on multiple pieces of gear to get to the point where you're really the chosen one.

The secondary goal is to get your Attack Speed close to 100% also so that you can spam Blessed Hammer like a machine gun, and so your Wing Strikes are pumping rapidly. This is much easier to achieve with Fanaticism Aura and Fanaticism Aura Potency that you'll eventually prioritize on your Tempers once you have little need for Arbiter Duration.

Masterworking

Target Critical Hit Damage on all offensive pieces for a huge damage boost. On your armor you can Masterwork Life or All Resistance to get more Toughness. Fanaticism Aura Potency is good to grab as well if you aren't already at the 100% cap.

Runewords

I think these 2 combinations are the best ones I've found. Bac Gar & Cir Que. One providing a giant amount of Critical Chance and the other giving you a significant Toughness boost. You'll see a lot of builds run the Spirit Wolves rune Ceh but since this build applies so much Vulnerable on it's own it seems insignificant.

Talismans

Talisman Priority
+7

Seal

For your Seal prioritize one with +1 Charm slot over anything else. Once you have some options look for Cooldown Reduction, Critical Hit Chance/Damage or %Damage/Vulnerable Damage, depending on what you think your current setup needs the most.

For the 6th Slot optimally you'll put in Griswold's Opus, but this won't be easy to come by. Try to get any Unique Charm in there that will allow you to remove a Unique from your Equipment so you can pick up another Legendary Aspect in its place. I think Argent Veil is another great choice for this Charm slot since it lets you pick up another Offensive Aspect like Aspect of Utmost Glory while keeping it's incredible bonus.

Any beneficial Unique Charm that looks like it does anything for your build works too as a place holder. I played around with Fists of Fate for example, and it did very well with this build, you hit so often that there's plenty of chance for some massive hits from RNGesus.

Light's Epiphany

Make sure you read the 2 piece set bonus here and understand it. It's very important to the success of the build. If you aren't spamming hammers and constantly hitting enemies with them you're going to suffer. This goes back to the idea of the build snowballing. Always focus on hitting mobs with Blessed Hammer, use Falling Star constantly to also proc more Cooldown Reduction on your Arbiter of Justice as well as to keep up your 10 stacks of Aspect of Ascension.

Once you no longer have a huge Faith depletion problem drop Rally to pick up Consecration.

Paragon Board

This board will be a continuation of the one in the Starter build variant. More points to chase down Rare/Magic Nodes as well as pump up your bonuses with main stat.

Mercenary

Raheir is the GOAT for endgame. He'll dive in to save you from death when you take a big hit, gives you 15% All Resistance, makes enemies take 15% more damage, and gives you 25% more damage when inside Bastion.

Aldkin as reinforcement gives you 20% damage reduction when standing in his Field of Languish.

How it Plays

Hopefully you've been reading about the importance of certain Legendary Aspects, Set Bonuses and understand the core functionality of this build from above. But we all know nobody got time for that, so let me break it down real simple here for you.

Cast Arbiter of Justice to dive into the first enemies you see, followed by using Falling Star to get multiple procs from your Aspect of Ascension. You are now in Arbiter Form and the goal is to stay in Arbiter forever.

Use Defiance Aura & Fanaticism Aura when you get to big packs of monsters or Elites. This is going to Weaken them and make you unstoppable.

Whenever there are monsters around you want to cast Blessed Hammer. Remember hitting enemies with a Disciple skill reduces the Cooldown of Arbiter of Justice. Don't just spam this non stop when no one is around, you'll regret it. Spam it on Elites and big packs of mobs.

Keep an eye on your Arbiter form, there's a little blue orb to the side of your Faith orb that shows you when it's about to fall off. If it's going to fall off and you won't be able to cast it again in time, this is where Falling Star becomes essential. Keep using Falling Star to stay in Arbiter while you wait for Arbiter of Justice to be available. Jump from pack to pack with Falling Star and spam Blessed Hammer to get your Arbiter of Justice off Cooldown ASAP.

Starter Setup Info

Use Rally whenever your Faith is getting low and to get it's Movement Speed Buff. You should be able to cast this quite often to keep zooming around and never have Faith problems.

Unique & Mythic Unique Variant Info

When you get very powerful and have items like Ring of Starless Skies and Argent Veil your playstyle is going to change a bit and be a lot more aggressive. You'll keep doing what you've been doing, but now you're going to be using Evade after every 1-2 casts of Blessed Hammer to get a free cast from Argent Veil.

You're holding down "force move", Spamming Blessed Hammer and casting Evade every second or so. Use Falling Star on Cooldown to keep pushing forward to the next pack of enemies and drop all 3 Auras on enemies whenever they're up. This is the real zoom zoom style of play you've been striving for. You're constantly moving or flying forward with evade, Falling Star and Arbiter of Justice. There's a ton of hammers spinning around you at all times, and you're essentially a flying blender that decimates everything.

Use Consecration along side your Defiance Aura & Fanaticism Aura. Consecration is going to Weaken enemies and give you Extra Damage, Resource Cost Reduction, Healing and Fortification. EPIC!

You can also use Consecration separately from Fanaticism Aura since they both apply Weaken. This is a good strategy when you want to constantly be putting that debuff on packs of enemies and one or the other is on cooldown. The way I do it is, Yellow Elite or Boss I just cast them all and send it, While I'm progressing through a Dungeon or trash mobs I usually cast them separately to keep Weakening as many mobs as possible as I traverse.
