Overview

This build was created by Hydration. To find it in game, search for "Mobalytics - Warden by Hydration" (BuildID: 17522)

At first glance Warden may seem like a tank, but in reality he is a bullet damage assassin that also serves as a tank. Warden is one of the weakest lane heroes, but as soon as he starts picking up the necessary items, he becomes an absolute speed demon that cannot be kited.

Early Game

  • First buy Ammo Scavenger and High-Velocity Mag to help you secure and deny souls during lane.

  • Pick up Basic Magazine, Close Quarters, Extra Health, and Enduring Spirit. With these items you can begin trading with your opponents after throwing out your Alchemical Flask.

  • Extra Regen is a great pickup if you are struggling in lane.

  • Quicksilver Reload imbued on your Alchemical Flask lets you win every trade.

  • Cold Front is very good for both sticking on fleeing enemies and for farming neutral camps.

Mid Game

  • Buy Berserker as it starts getting a lot of value at this point.

  • As you step into the mid game, pick up Sprint Boots to help you get around neutral camps and to give you stronger ganks.

  • Mid game is where Warden truly shines, after you acquire the mid game core of Slowing Hex, Fleetfoot, and Enduring Speed, no one will be able to run away from you.

  • Bullet Lifesteal and both Armors will make you very durable in fights.

  • Heroic Aura is very good if you still need more speed. If lacking flex slots, skip it for now.

  • Continue upgrading your items if all your flex slots are filled, otherwise fill a slot with Hunter's Aura.

  • Upgrade Fortitude if lacking slots.

  • Siphon Bullets is another great option if you need more tankiness.

  • Crippling Headshot will be the highest value overall if your teammates don’t have it.

  • Silencer is great against Spirit heavy teams.

  • Improved Cooldown and Duration Extender are two great options if you lack flex slots. Sell Mystic Burst for either one of these. Upgrading either of them is also fine, imbue them on Last Stand.
