Overview

This build was created by Hydration. To find it in game, search for "Mobalytics - Warden by Hydration" (BuildID: 17522)

At first glance Warden may seem like a tank, but in reality he is a bullet damage assassin that also serves as a tank. Warden is one of the weakest lane heroes, but as soon as he starts picking up the necessary items, he becomes an absolute speed demon that cannot be kited.

Early Game

  • First buy High-Velocity Mag to help you secure and deny souls during lane.

  • Next you want Restorative Shot to help you survive the lane.

  • Pick up Headshot Booster, Extra Health, Mystic Burst, Enduring Spirit and Mystic Reach and begin trading after throwing out your Alchemical Flask.

  • Extra Regen is a great pickup if you are struggling in lane.

  • Quicksilver Reload imbued on your Alchemical Flask lets you win every trade.

Mid Game

  • As you step into the mid game, pick up Sprint Boots to help you get around neutral camps and to give you stronger ganks.

  • Mid game is where Warden truly shines, after you acquire the mid game core of Slowing Hex, Fleetfoot, Slowing Bullets and Enduring Speed, no one will be able to run away from you.

  • Your first T3 item should be Veil Walker , followed by Combat Barrier. Sell Extra Regen if lacking slots.

  • Headhunter and Heroic Aura are very good if you still need more speed. Sell Restorative Shot if lacking slots.

Late Game

  • Next you want to upgrade Pristine Emblem, this item is one of the best T3 items for Warden dps-wise.

  • Now you will want to save up for your first T4 item, generally Lucky Shot is better than Glass Cannon but if you don’t have the flex slot for Lucky Shot then buy Glass Cannon.

  • Have another flex slot and a lot of money? Buy Silencer.

  • Upgrade Fortitude if lacking slots.

  • Imbue Last Stand with Improved Reach.

Lucky Shot6,200 souls
Glass Cannon7,450 souls
Silencer6,200 souls

Situational Items

  • Inhibitor is great if you plan on looking for picks in sidelines.

  • Siphon Bullets is another great option if you need more tankiness.

  • Frenzy is the best option vs heavy weapon damage teams.

  • Crippling Headshot will be the highest value overall if your teammates don’t have it.

Enchanter's Barrier is a very good cheap option if the enemy team has a lot of spirit damage burst.

Improved Cooldown and Duration Extender are two great options if you lack flex slots. Sell Mystic Burst for either one of these. Upgrading either of them is also fine, imbue them on Last Stand.
