Overview

This build was created by Seagull. To find it in game, search for "Seagull Mobalytics Gun Hybrid". (BuildID: 135169)

Turrets are fun, but they struggle to scale into the later stages of the game. This build aims to use the incredibly high base damage of Turrets while building and scaling our own power instead – despite minimal investment, Turrets will do about 30-50% of our overall damage in this build!

Early Game

  • Buy all items in order to make the laning phase easy! Focus on walling off the enemy and punching to secure CS with the early regen items + Medicinal Specter.

  • If you start struggling, don’t be afraid to sit by your tower and wait for health regen to kick in – early game kills don’t have much impact as long as you’re farming effectively.

  • The hardest part will be the first couple minutes until you get Bullet Lifesteal. After that, you’ll have an incredible amount of sustain in lane and can start actively trading as much as possible.

  • Clear T3 camps at 8 minutes with your Heavy Barrage ultimate, and try not to use it on enemy players early game. Using your ultimate to get a kill is worth less than getting a T3 camp, and it has a long cooldown now after all the nerfs!

Mid Game

  • If you need slots, sell Restorative Shot, Extra Health, or Basic Magazine (preferably in that order of priority).

  • The combination of Fleetfoot + Melee Charge is extremely important because Fleetfoot's active cancels melee attacks! Double jump into the air, heavy punch and cancel it with Fleetfoot – if you have melee charge, you will fly across the map, an extremely getaway tool. Additionally, you can now bait enemy parries by canceling your melee attacks before it hits enemies.

  • Use Fleetfoot's active + Melee Charge on creeps before fights to stack up 200+ bullets so you never have to reload!

  • This build has a massive power spike once you get Heroic Aura, as each turret will now do about 185 DPS with 0 investment from items while we simultaneously get 42% Bullet Lifesteal so we can start having massive sustain in fights.

  • Once we get Intensifying Magazine + Decay, our DPS is fantastic and we can start focusing on survivability items like Healing Booster as we’ll quickly hit the next power spike on a maxed out Medicinal Specter (which gives us + our team 6% HP/s).

Late Game

  • Most games will be over by this point, but if the game goes long, you’ll need to replace Decay with Toxic Bullets in order to free up an Active slot for more useful items like Debuff Remover, Unstoppable, or Metal Skin (everybody loves this item vs Haze!)

  • As for lategame DPS scaling, Crippling Headshot is fantastic as it benefits our team as well as ourselves, and we shouldn’t need damage as much as we’ll need survivability.

  • Leech can be great, but it has massive diminishing returns and we won’t see much value from it in comparison to items like Unstoppable or Inhibitor. Alternating Unstoppable and Colossus (or combining them in truly dire cases) is amazing for longer teamfights to sustain.
