Build Overview

Infinite Critical Hits. Critical Funding paired with Nuclear Winter and Group Study is what provides this. Building into Critical Damage is key in this build. Nuclear Winter also gives Bonus Cryo and Radiation Damage depending on if you're inside or outside of the Flux Generator. Any ways to increase this damage also helps out here, same with increases to Fire Rate. Triggering or Re-Triggering your action skills gives you multiple bonuses from Group Study, and our Zero-Point skills further build into that.

Strengths And Weaknesses

  • Mobbing is cake
  • Bossing is a breeze
  • Overshield adds to survivability
  • Flexible gear
  • Can be a glass cannon depending on gear

Momentum Starts us out with 25% bonus Critical Hit Damage when you entangle an enemy, which will be pretty much every enemy you shoot thanks to Critical Funding & Nuclear Winter, which entangles any enemy hit by a Critical Hit. Add an additional 35% (60% Bonus Crit Damage now) with Excited State, and Precision Engineering adds 30% more (90% Bonus Crit Damage now). Neutron Decay adds 10% Gun Damage per stack (Max 5 Stacks) when you Irradiate an enemy, which happens consistently due to Nuclear Winter giving us Bonus Radiation Damage. Decoherence gives Bonus Damage vs. Entangled Enemies, which happens to be essentially every enemy we shoot. Accretion and Distribution Function adds to the survivability of the build adding Lifesteal & Overshield to both you and your allies. The Zero-Point skills Parallel Circuit and Bright Future give us further bonuses when Triggering/Re-Triggering our Action Skill from Group Study. Getting Gun Handling bonuses from Harlowe's Certainty Principle & Negative Entropy is also a nice bonus, but we use those skills to unlock key skills in the build. Finally, Confirmative Reality is beautiful to loop our Action Skill constantly, as Triggering/Re-Triggering it drains it faster the more you do it, basically giving our Action Skill back in about 2-3 seconds when shooting an Entangled enemy.

Equipment

Weapons
Repkit & Ordnance
Utilities

The Bod is really the only gun you need, as it's just so strong with Torgue (Sticky Mag). Building up Torgue Stickies can nuke any enemy, or boss in the game in mere seconds. However, the Kaoson, Wombo Combo, and Katagawa's Revenge are also great options here. For the Repkit, a Triple Bypass or Kill Spring would be best, especially when paired with Amp (Amplified) or Enrage (Experimental). For Ordnance, Firepot works best when paired with the Trooper Class Mod, but if you choose a different Class Mod, then any Crit Jakobs Grenade works here. As I just said, the Trooper Class Mod is great here, mainly for the ability to get +5 to the Meltdown skill. Another option would be the Bookworm Purple Class Mod, granting access to Cyclotron and Bright Future. Watts 4 Dinner or Protean Cell are best for the shield, but its flexible here. Siphon Tolling on Watts 4 Dinner is ideal, but AMP Synergized combined with Siphon Tolling goes hard, just turns you a bit squishier, likewise with Protean Cell, but it gives way more Bonus Shock Damage. In terms of Enhancements, any Daedalus Enhancement or Torgue Enhancement would be ideal if you use the Bod, otherwise whatever best suits your most used weapons, and what has passives to benefit your build.

Shield FirmwareHigh Caliber
Enhancement FirmwareHigh Caliber

Firmware is simple, 3 Deadeye for Critical Hit Damage Bonuses, and 2 High Caliber for Projectile Speed & Gun Damage. Skillcraft is also a viable option, but it only applies to your Bonus Elemental Damage from Nuclear Winter.

Specialization

Specialization 1Bullets Are Scared Of Me
Specialization 2The Best Defense
Specialization 3Riddle You This
Specialization 4One Shot, One Kill

Bullets Are Scared Of Me provides survivability, The Best Defense provides some Bonus Damage based on health and shields, which should stay relatively high most of the time. Riddle You This further increases Gun Damage, likewise with One Shot, One Kill.

Gameplay

Super simple gameplay loop, pop your Action Skill, shoot enemies, and Re-Trigger your Action Skill as much as possible, to provide plenty of bonuses across the board to you through Group Study, Parallel Circuit and Bright Future. Once your Action Skill runs out, continue shooting to get your Action Skill back fast through Confirmative Reality. If using Trooper, toss some Ordnance in while shooting to add to the damage.
