Melee Amon

True Melee + Hammer or Sword Spam

At level 70 Amon's melee builds have combined into one Fiery Fiesta. This spec allows you to switch between several different set ups while still having the Mantra to fall back on. All of these set ups end in whoever youre fighting burning to a crisp.

Thermal Diffusion

A massive punch based on your shield's capacity - you can use this for solid single target damage

Pyroclast

Keep Onslaughter up in mobbing with a burning Fire Storm

Stormcutter

A lightning imbued sword - use this to maintain or refund Onslaughter or Grenades

Molten Roil

A massive Hammer to smite your foes - spam this with Fists of Stone

Mantra

A gun that shoots melee - for when you need to punch but way over there

This gear requirements for UVH7 for this build are low but it does greatly appreciate 70 Specialization Ranks.

Pure Melee, hold a bladed maliwan shotgun with a high fire dot. Sweet Embrace is target farmable. Stellium is best dot + blade. Mantra is ok too.

Armored UVH7 bosses can be difficult. Your best bet is to use the cryo portion of Thermal Diffusion.

This build was able to plat sub and thol on UVH7 with a Double Turtle Watts4Dinner however any reasonable time in the takedown isnt gonna happen. The build is just slow by nature and also has a hard time with Watchgrath and Terra.

Gameplay

Sword. Puch. Sword. Punch. Fish. Sword. Punch. Sword.

As long as enemies die inside of your Pyroclast storm and you keep swinging Stormcutter youll stay in Onslaughter. But even if you dont Slippy and Fists of Stone will let you keep spamming Stormcutter so youre never without Onslaughter for long.

Pyroclast will help keep onslaughter up, thermal diffusion is better for bossing. you can skip both and just molten roil spam too.

Furnace with as many points in Raging Inferno as possible

Viking with as many points in Fists of Stone as possible - this helps you mob if the enemies arent dense. In the Takedown a Furnace is fine.

Watts 4 Dinner for mobbing
Protean Cell for bossing

Slippy for better Forgeskill regen

Crit Knife for better boss DPS

The holy grail of Mantra for this build is high fire dot with a blade and a shooty gun with legs tediore reload. You can throw it while doing your bossing to simulate having a Viking on despite having a Furnace on. This is only cool for extended fights on TUVH7. You can ignore this need by simply playing on UVH7 where this build is much more comfy.
