Use your favourite features in-game with our Desktop AppIn a report published recently by outlet MP1st, it was claimed that the rumored Tiny Tina's Wonderlands sequel had been scrapped, undergoing a soft reboot. Images were shared, supposedly sourced from a developer's portfolio. The images showed off not only early looks at Tiny Tina's Wonderlands 2, but an unannounced Brothers In Arms game.
Since that report came out, we've received an update regarding details surrounding the situation.
The original cancellation report last year was true to a degree, with multiple employees from Lost Boys Interactive being laid off, as confirmed by ex-employees. The current belief is that some of those same employees were under the assumption the game had been fully scrapped, with no further work to come.
However, it would appear that this is no longer the case. While the game was indeed scrapped, it was only the progress made under LBI, as opposed to the idea. The title has since undergone a complete reboot, with development restarting sometime around late 2024, to early 2025. The studio working on it is currently unconfirmed. The title is not cancelled.
It was previously mentioned via Twitter/X that reports of the game being cancelled weren't entirely true, with the game still being in development. One user commented on that claim, mentioning that their friend (an employee of Lost Boys) was told the game was completely cancelled. It seems that post has now either been deleted, or lost.
The general consensus surrounding this report is that the situation was somewhat messy, with numerous employees left confused about the eventual fate of the title.
It's unlikely that the state of this title will change any time soon. Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford made a statement back in August of 2025 where he mentioned "I would bet, that we are going to spend more time on that."
