Laevatain teams play around Heat Inflictions to enhance her Battle Skill, but since she lacks Heat Inflictions on her kit, it's better to rely on other operators (such as
Wulfgard and
Antal) to apply Heat Inflictions in a much more efficient way, leaving the SP for Laevatain to unleash her enhanced Battle Skill.
Laevatain Team Guide
Overview
Tabs
This variation replaces
Wulfgard for
Akekuri, for better buffs and SP generation (
Frontiers &
Thermite Cutter)
Could change in the future if we get a more supportive Handcannon or Gear Set, but currently that's the best team for
Laevatain.
Team Overview

LYNX can be used on Ardelia for better healing but it's a purely defensive set. Eternal Xiranite doesn't stack but you can get better uptime on the buff by using on two units.
How to Play
Replacing
Wulfgard with
Akekuri makes the gameplay slower, but better buffs makes up for it.
Laevatain needs to spend SP using her non-enhanced Battle Skill in order to generate stacks.
Basic Rotation:
Antal: Battle Skill (Specified Research Subject)
Laevatain: Final Strike
Ardelia: Combo Skill (Eruption Column)- Don't use Laevatain Combo Skill yet
Laevatain: Final Strike
Laevatain: Combo Skill (Seethe)
Akekuri: Battle Skill (Burst of Passion)
Antal: Combo Skill (EMP Test Site)
Laevatain: Final Strike
Laevatain: Battle Skill (Smouldering Fire) - Keep doing basics until
Laevatain Combo Skill is available
Laevatain: Enhanced Battle Skill (Smouldering Fire)
Laevatain: Combo Skill (Seethe)
You only need to use
Antal Battle Skill every 60s.
Avoid using
Ardelia Combo Skill when
Laevatain Combo Skill is not available.
Avoid using
Akekuri Battle Skill if
Antal Combo Skill is not available.
Rotation (Stun/Ultimate):
Laevatain: Final Strike
Ardelia: Combo Skill (Eruption Column)
Laevatain: Final Strike
Laevatain: Combo Skill (Seethe)
Ardelia: Battle Skill (Dolly Rush)
Akekuri: Battle Skill (Burst of Passion)
Antal: Combo Skill (EMP Test Site)
Laevatain: Final Strike (Trigger Stun)
Akekuri: Combo Skill (Flash and Dash)
Antal: Overclocked Moment
Laevatain: Finisher
Laevatain: Battle Skill (Smouldering Fire)
Laevatain: Ultimate (Twilight)
Laevatain: Final Strike
Akekuri: Battle Skill
Laevatain: Keep using Basic Attacks
Ardelia: Combo Skill (Eruption Column)
Laevatain: Battle Skill (Smouldering Fire)
Laevatain: Combo Skill (Seethe)
Laevatain: Keep using Basic Attacks
Since
Laevatain Basic Attack 3 applies Heat Infliction, she can stack her talent just by doing Basic Attacks on enemies. Cast her Battle Skill and Combo Skill whenever available.
Additional Notes
Wait, what about Wulfgard Ultimate?
Use
Wulfgard Ultimate (Wolven Fury) whenever your
Laevatain Combo Skill is available, ideally in-between
Ardelia Combo Skill to fill the gap.
My Ardelia is being used somewhere else, help!
Ardelia makes
Laevatain rotation smooth as it synergizes perfectly with her and triggers her Combo Skill. If you really can't use Ardelia on your Laevatain team, you can pick between
Akekuri and
Gilberta.
Akekuri helps with SP generation and another source of Heat Infliction, but you will lose all the Sustain and Combo Skills. Your only sources of Combo Skills will be
Wulfgard Ultimate, and Laevatain enhanced Battle Skill.
Gilberta can group enemies for Laevatain, which is helpful for AoE content. She also applies Nature Inflictions to enemies, which allows Combustion or Corrosion to happen and trigger extra Laevatain Combo Skills. Her Ultimate also applies Arts Susceptibility to enemies, so remember to use it during Laevatain's Ultimate.
