Effects Dictionary

Name

Description

Amp

Amped targets deal more DMG of the element it is Amped for. The number represents the degree of increase. Effects of the same type can stack.

Arts Amp

Arts Amped targets temporarily deal more Arts DMG. The number represents the degree of increase. Effects of the same type can stack.

Arts DMG

Damage can be divided into Physical DMG, Arts DMG and Aether DMG. Arts DMG can be further divided into Heat DMGElectric DMGCryo DMG, and Nature DMG.

Arts Infliction

Arts Infliction are special Arts debuffs inflicted upon the enemy. There are 4 elements of Arts Inflictions: Heat InflictionElectric InflictionCryo Infliction and Nature Infliction. Up to 4 stacks of Arts Infliction of the same element can be applied.

Arts Susceptibility

Arts Susceptible targets temporarily take more Arts DMG. The number represents the degree of increase. Effects of the same type can stack.

Breach

Applies Vulnerable on an enemy. If the enemy is already Vulnerable, then consume all Vulnerable stacks, deal Physical DMG, and temporarily increase the Physical DMG taken by the enemy.

Combustion

An enemy with Combustion takes Heat DMG over time. A non-Heat Infliction + Heat Infliction = Combustion.

Corrosion

An enemy with Corrosion gradually loses resistance against all elements. A non-Nature Infliction + Nature Infliction = Corrosion.

Crush

Applies Vulnerable on an enemy. If the enemy is already Vulnerable, then consume all Vulnerable stacks and deal massive Physical DMG.

Cryo Amp

Cryo Amped targets temporarily deal more Cryo DMG. The number represents the degree of increase. Effects of the same type can stack.

Cryo Burst

Cryo Burst = Cryo Infliction + Cryo Infliction. Applies 1 stack of Cryo Infliction and deals Cryo DMG.

Cryo Infliction

Cryo Infliction is a type of Arts Infliction. Up to 4 stacks of Cryo Infliction can be applied and stacking triggers Cryo Burst. A non-Cryo Infliction + Cryo Infliction = Solidification.

Cryo Susceptibility

Cryo Susceptible targets temporarily take more Cryo DMG. The number represents the degree of increase. Effects of the same type can stack.

Debuff Consumption

Various Physical and Arts debuffs can be ended early. For example, Crush consumes Vulnerable debuffs, while Combustion consumes Arts Infliction debuffs.

Dispel

This removes specific debuffs from the operator.

Electric Amp

Electric Amped targets temporarily deal more Electric DMG. The number represents the degree of increase. Effects of the same type can stack.

Electric Burst

Electric Burst = Electric Infliction + Electric Infliction. Applies 1 stack of Electric Infliction and deals Electric DMG.

Electric Infliction

Electric Infliction is a type of Arts Infliction. Up to 4 stacks of Electric Infliction can be applied and stacking triggers Electric Burst. A non-Electric Infliction + Electric Infliction = Electrification.

Electric Susceptibility

Electric Susceptible targets temporarily take more Electric DMG. The number represents the degree of increase. Effects of the same type can stack.

Electrification

An enemy with Electrification takes more Arts DMG. A non-Electric Infliction + Electric Infliction = Electrification.

Final Strike

Final Strike is the last sequence of Basic Attack. When the controlled operator's Final Strike hits the enemy, it also deals Stagger and restores some Skill Points (SP).

Heat Amp

Heat Amped targets temporarily deal more Heat DMG. The number represents the degree of increase. Effects of the same type can stack.

Heat Burst

Heat Burst = Heat Infliction + Heat Infliction. Applies 1 stack of Heat Infliction and deals Heat DMG.

Heat Infliction

Heat Infliction is a type of Arts Infliction. Up to 4 stacks of Heat Infliction can be applied and stacking triggers Heat Burst. A non-Heat Infliction + Heat Infliction = Combustion.

Heat Susceptibility

Heat Susceptible targets temporarily take more Heat DMG. The number represents the degree of increase. Effects of the same type can stack.

Knock Down

Applies Vulnerable to an enemy. If the enemy is already Vulnerable, then add 1 stack of Vulnerable, and deal Physical DMG and Stagger.

Lift

Applies Vulnerable on an enemy. If the enemy is already Vulnerable, then add 1 stack of Vulnerable, and deal Physical DMG and Stagger.

Link

Next battle skill or ultimate cast by the team consumes the link buff and deals more DMG, with battle skills getting a higher increase. Effects of the same type can stack, but with diminishing returns.

Nature Amp

Nature Amped targets temporarily deal more Nature DMG. The number represents the degree of increase. Effects of the same type can stack.

Nature Burst

Nature Burst = Nature Infliction + Nature Infliction. Applies 1 stack of Nature Infliction and deals Nature DMG.

Nature Infliction

Nature Infliction is a type of Arts Infliction. Up to 4 stacks of Nature Infliction can be applied and stacking triggers Nature Burst. A non-Nature Infliction + Nature Infliction = Corrosion.

Nature Susceptibility

Nature Susceptible targets temporarily take more Nature DMG. The number represents the degree of increase. Effects of the same type can stack.

Originium Crystals

The Endministrator's combo skill attaches Originium Crystals to enemies and immobilizes them.

Physical Status

Physical Statuses refer to physical debuffs applied to the enemy. They include LiftKnock DownCrush and Breach.

Physical Susceptibility

Physical Susceptible targets temporarily take more Physical DMG. The number represents the degree of increase. Effects of the same type can stack.

Protection

Protected targets temporarily take reduced DMG. The number represents the degree of reduction. When there are multiple effects of the same type, only the most powerful applies.

SP Return

After spending SP and meeting certain criteria, some of the SP spent will be returned. SP Return is not SP Recovery and do not activate SP Recovery-triggered effects. Spending returned SP also does not gain Ultimate Energy.

Shatter

To an enemy with active Solidification, applying Vulnerable or Physical Status effects will consume the Solidification to trigger Shatter that deals massive Physical DMG.

Shield

The shield can absorb damage while it is active. Some shields may only absorb specific types of DMG.

Slow

Slowed targets temporarily suffer movement speed reduction. The number represents the degree of reduction. When there are multiple effects of the same type, only the most powerful applies.

Solidification

An enemy with Solidification cannot move, and applying Vulnerable or a Physical Status to the enemy triggers the Shatter effect. A non-Cryo Infliction + Cryo Infliction = Solidification.

Stagger Node

Some powerful enemies have Stagger Nodes. Deal enough Stagger to reach the Stagger Node to interrupt such enemies and make them stumble.

Status Level

Status Level is the number of Vulnerable or Arts Infliction stacks (max 4) consumed when triggering a Physical Status or Arts Reaction. The higher the Status Level, the stronger the resulting Physical Status or Arts Reaction.

Vulnerable

Hitting an enemy for the first time with a skill with Physical Status applies Vulnerable instead of the actual Physical Status. A Vulnerable enemy can be Lifted and Knock Down to add more Vulnerable stacks (up to 4). Hitting a Vulnerable enemy with Crush or Breach will consume the Vulnerable stacks.

Weaken

Weakened targets temporarily deal reduced DMG. The number represents the degree of reduction. Effects of the same type can stack non-linearly.
