In this guide, you'll find all the addons I'm currently using in WoW Forever, along with some additional recommendations that are definitely worth checking out!

I'll keep everything organized into categories, with short explanations and download links for each addon, so you can easily find exactly what you're looking for.

I'll also be regularly updating this guide as new addons become available, existing ones improve, or I discover something worth recommending.

The easiest way to install and manage your addons is through CurseForge.

Instead of manually downloading files and dragging them into your WoW folders, CurseForge makes the entire process much easier.

Detailed Explanation of the Addons above

EllesmereUI

EllesmereUI is a complete UI overhaul that gives you almost full control over how your game looks and feels. You can customize practically everything, including windows, panels, action bars, unit frames, nameplates, and much more, allowing you to create a UI that perfectly fits your preferences and playstyle. But EllesmereUI isn't just about appearance. It also comes packed with utility and quality-of-life features that eliminate the need for several other addons.

My Main UI Preset

RestedXP

A step-by-step leveling guide that provides optimized questing routes, navigation arrows, and automated quest interactions to help you level faster. The free version covers from levels 1-20, however, if you'd like to get the full version, you can do so from here.

Questie

Displays available quests, objectives, enemy locations, and quest turn-ins directly on your map and minimap, making questing much easier.

RareScanner

Alerts you when rare enemies, treasures, or special events are detected nearby, helping you discover valuable loot and collectibles.

Lueur

Highlights herbs, mining nodes, treasures, fishing bobbers, and interactive objects, making them much easier to spot.

Baganator

Combines your bags into one customizable inventory with item categories, search functionality, and improved bank management. For this to work we turn off the Bags module from EllesmereUI and we use Baganator because of a small addon called Syndicator that comes with it. Syndicator allows you to browse the bags of your alts too.

CraftProfit Forever

Calculates crafting costs and potential profits using Auction House prices, helping you identify the most profitable recipes.

SkillUp Forever

Simplifies profession leveling with optimized crafting routes, material shopping lists, and skill-up information.

Auctionator

Improves the Auction House with easier buying and selling, price tracking, market scans, and customizable shopping lists.

GatherLite

Displays herb, mining, and other gathering locations on your map and minimap, making resource farming more efficient.

Forever Quest Tint

Highlights newly introduced WoW Forever quests with a customizable color, helping you distinguish them from original Vanilla quests.

LayerSwap

Displays your current server layer and helps you switch layers to join friends or find less crowded farming locations.

LagBuddy

Monitors FPS, lag spikes, addon resource usage, and performance issues to help you identify what's slowing down your game.

Attune

Tracks dungeon and raid attunement requirements, completed quests, and progression for both yourself and your guild.

FishFry

An all-in-one fishing addon with simplified fishing controls, lure management, catch tracking, and useful fishing tools.

Spy

Detects nearby enemy players in World PvP, provides threat alerts, and lets you maintain a Kill on Sight list.
