All About the New Skyborne Race
Unlocking Skyborne
Gaining access to the Skyborne race requires purchasing one of the World of Warcraft Forever Skyborne Packs, which you can find here: https://us.shop.battle.net/en-us/product/world-of-warcraft-forever.

Zephras Isle Starting Zone
All Skyborne players begin their journey in the new area Zephras Isle, which is also included in the Skyborne Race Packs.

Zephras Isle is a starting experience zone with quests that scale up to level 13. Players can leave the zone and head to their respective faction’s capital cities via airship at any time. Alliance players are taken to Dalaran, and Horde players are dropped off near Thunder Bluff.
Choosing Your Faction
Skyborne players choose either Alliance or Horde on the character creation screen. This faction choice will affect your character’s racial bonuses and class options.

Skyborne Racial Bonuses
Skyborne have four racial bonuses, with one that varies based on faction choice.
Walk on Air: A skill that grants 10 seconds of slow falling on a 2-minute cooldown. You are able to slightly control your character while falling.
Wind Blessed: Grants a 1% increase to attack and cast speed at all times. This is a useful increase to damage, threat, and healing for players in all situations.
Elemental Insight: Grants a 5% damage bonus against Elemental-type enemies. This bonus can occasionally be useful in dungeons and raids. It is very useful on the Zephras Isle, which has an unusually large number of elemental enemies for a starting zone.
Read Ley Line (Alliance): Grants 100% increased life and mana regeneration for 15 seconds. Lasts for 15 minutes if cast near a Ley Line. This bonus is very powerful for spellcasters and healers, but the 5-second mana regeneration penalty upon casting spells still applies. It can also provide useful out-of-combat life regeneration for Warriors and Rogues.
Skysight (Horde): Grants 10% movement speed and mounted movement speed for 30 seconds. Lasts for 15 minutes if cast near an Elemental Convergence. Movement speed is extremely important, and this is one of the few racial movement speed bonuses available in WoW Forever.
Skyborne Classes
Skyborne characters have four classes available for both factions and one faction-specific class option:
Warrior
Hunter
Rogue
Druid
Mage (Alliance)
Shaman (Horde)
