Ixtal is a trait in Set 16 that requires you to complete quests to earn bonus loot, eventually allowing you to unlock high cost units like Brock, along with plenty of resources to help you get ahead of tempo.
In this guide, we’ll show you all the possible drops you can earn from completing quests so you’ll know which thresholds to aim for to get the best possible cash out rewards.

Ixtal Cash-Out Table
Which Ixtal Cash-Out Should You Aim For?
If you’re unsure which cash out to aim for, don’t worry, there’s rarely a single “correct” answer. It can change from game to game, and in most cases, higher is better as long as you still have enough HP to work with. Some of these rewards can get pretty dizzy.
Your target also depends on the comp you’re playing. If you’re playing fast 8 and you only hit Ixtal in late Stage 2 or early Stage 3, going for a 200–300 cash out is usually ideal. It doesn’t cost too much HP and still puts you ahead of other fast 8 players and sometimes giving you things like a Thief’s Gloves or an Artifact Anvil for free tempo.
If you’re playing a reroll comp, you can aim for cash outs that offer Lesser Champion Duplicators, letting you hit your upgrades even faster than usual and putting you way ahead so you can punish the people still looking to build their board.
If you get an Ixtal Opener along with augments like Titanic Titan, which give you extra HP to work with, you should push your advantage even further. Your goal here is to scale to the highest threshold possible while still keeping around two lives worth of HP. Anything above 600 puts you in a ridiculous spot, some of these cash outs give resources that count as 2 prismatic augments, making it incredibly hard to lose.
If you want to play for the 7-cost Brock, you’ll need to collect 500 Ixtal Shards. It doesn’t have to be done in one go, If you’re getting low on HP and need resources immediately, you can cash out early, keep 3 Ixtal active, and farm the remaining Shards with a stronger board.
Remember, you can always try to cash out on a PvE round. Transitioning your board and sorting through all the loot can take time, so a slower round can make the process much smoother.
