Then play this Blackthorn Ahri Malphite comp!

You will have the sexiest and deadliest carry in the game together with the beefiest tank ever!

All you need --- is a Blackthorn Emblem!

Summary

Blackthorn Ahri is a Fast 8 comp where your main carry is 2★ Ahri, and main tank is 2★ Malphite.
Your goal is to reach 6 Blackthorn, with the key condition for committing to the comp being finding a Blackthorn Emblem.
Once you reach 6 Blackthorn, all Blackthorn champions receive massive buffs. Which is great for hypercarry like Ahri.

Note: Remember to keep a Rek'Sai and a Warwick on bench for 6 Blackthorn later on, if you started with Blossom Opening.

Itemization

For Malphite

• Malphite is a solo mega tank, so Gargoyle Stoneplate is the most important item.
• Warmog's Armor adds more health on top of the resistances.
• Ionic Spark provides Magic Penetration.
• Malphite BIS: Gargoyle Stoneplate + Warmog's Armor + Ionic Spark
• Flex items: Crownguard, Protector's Vow

For Ahri

• Blackthorn Emblem is the most important item.
• Jeweled Gauntlet provides the most damage.
• The third item is very flexible. Blue Buff is preferred, since it gives mana and multiplies the AP that Ahri already gains from traits.
• Ahri BIS: Blackthorn Emblem + Jeweled Gauntlet + Blue Buff

Key Ideas

This comp is extremely efficient because:

• Blackthorn and Blossom fill each other's synergies perfectly.
• Ahri is a hypercarry who needs extra resources. The 6 Blackthorn buff lets her unleash her true potential.
• 3 Blossom provides upgraded Wisps to add on top of everything.

When to Roll / How to Roll

• Roll at Level 8, preferably on 4-2 after picking the last augment.
• Roll aggressively until you find Ahri 2★ and Malphite 2★, since you do not need to go to Level 9.
• Remember to pick up Veigar, Rek'Sai, Warwick, and Azir for 6 Blackthorn.

U.R.F (For a spatula to make Blackthorn Emblem)

Urf's Gambit (Same as above, need to win a round after picking the augment, otherwise use "Reforger" on a Pan to make it a Spatula)

Spreading Roots (For Emblems. Risky but worth it. Most Emblems are very good. Use "Reforger" if it doesn't fill your traits.)

Urf's Grab Bag (Mainly for the Spatula)

Golden Gamble (For the Radiant Gargoyle Stoneplate on Malphite or Radiant Jeweled Gauntlet on Ahri)

Late Game/How to get 1st

This comp is so strong that once you assemble it, you are already very close to a 1st place.
You only need to add very little on top of it to make it perfect.

Prefer Ivern at Level 9 for more shields. Ivern is best with multiple mana items stacked on him.

Kennen and Gnar are also great because they aren't picky with items. They only need a pair of Thief's Gloves (TG).
