Bans are an unfortunate but inevitable part of pretty much every TCG. Oftentimes, they are a last resort effort to help fix an unbalanced format, or catch unwanted design mistakes.
This of course only applies to competitive formats. If you're sitting across the kitchen table, feel free to include whichever cards you like!
