There are Two Path of Building Files
The Campaign Section is the one linked above.
The Endgame Section is for after you have hit maps.
How to Use This Guide
Specifics on crafting or making certain items will be in their relevant sections. Each individual section below has notes on what should be relevant to you at that time. Check those notes first before asking questions in my discord or stream, if the question is answered in this guide I am just gonna say "read the guide".
Changes for 3.29:
Leveling is SUBSTANTIALLY easier due to the gem socket change.
Base mana cost changes on all spells are irrelevant for this build,
Archmage Support still costs the same as before despite a small nerf.
Spark of the Nova caught an overall -1 projectile nerf, the new 10% quality from sockets will give us 1 back while we lose 2.
Ball Lightning of Orbiting got a small cast speed buff.
Fireball got a large damage buff and mana cost buff. (
Rolling Magma got nerfed early so this is a slightly more powerful option than it was before)
Firestorm got a damage buff and a mana cost buff.
Arcane Cloak got a decent damage nerf but this is not game changing.
Pact of Beidat is most likely solid, will need to see how it works and update accordingly.
Kitava's Thirst unique implicit possibilities:
Thrillsteel for Onslaught
Honourhome depending on if it gives +2 Socketed Gems or maybe Reduced Mana cost would be good.
Mindspiral has a bunch of good mods, this is most likely the best generic option.
Ravenous Passion is another obvious one but depends on if both mods come through and how expensive it ends up making it.
Goldrim for all res.
Replica Heatshiver for Gain % of lightning as extra cold.
Thundersight for Sap.
Indigon depending on how the mod works.
Willclash for block.
Glimpse of Chaos (Blind) for the Increased mana possibly.
- Depending on the
Kitava's Thirst mod that can transfer over if it is good enough to use we can consider:
Mindspiral is the very obvious choice here.
Introduction
A juiced map farming build designed to be able to stand still, hold right click and clear the entire screen without any aiming or thoughts needed with the use of
Spark of the Nova.
This guide includes step by step instructions to take you from The Beach in Act 1, all the way to doing some of the most juiced maps in the game.
We start with
Fireball on the beach, transition into
Firestorm with
Unleash Support in Act 3 and that will carry us to maps where we use
Ball Lightning of Orbiting until we are able to obtain the
Widowhail and
Rearguard for the transition into
Spark of the Nova.
Basics
This build is a mana stacker, relying on
Archmage Support for most of our damage and
Mind Over Matter for most of our defenses.
It also unlocks some powerful tools such as
Arcane Cloak which boosts both our defenses and offenses quite drastically.
We utilize the
Widowhail bow alongside
Rearguard to scale max block and spell block, giving us a massive avoidance layer, as well as Projectile Speed which provides an extremely significant boost to damage for
Spark of the Nova allowing it to hit multiple times on the same target in confined areas.
We use
Frostblink of Wintry Blast as our movement skill because we're already scaling cast speed for damage, which makes this skill an easy choice for zooming around maps. At the very high end when we link this to
Archmage Support it can clear less powerful mobs all by itself!
Through the use of
Anathema and
Kitava's Thirst we are able to consistently apply 4 curses to all enemies at all times thanks to
Conviction of Power and
Archmage Support making our mana costs high enough to proc our helmet on every cast.
League Starting
There will be more detailed information in each of the sections below under "Build Variants". Select each one for notes about what your goals should be for each section of the game. These sections are pulled directly from a full league start SSF test run that I did just prior to the league launching. The SSF portion of the test goes all the way through Eater and Exarch and the versions past that are starting to use trade gear.
Ultimately your goal is to make your character stronger as you progress and these sections will provide detailed information on which passive points to take, skills and supports to use, example items that I used and more.
