This build is created with 1 goal in mind, to simplify things as much as possible
Braindead Warmachine - The MOST SIMPLE BUILD period! - Titan Scattering Calamity Life Stack - by UncleJay
Build Overview
Strengths and Weaknesses
- Good dmg
- Offscreen clear with built in autotarget + chain
- Super simple to setup: 1 skill, stack 1 stat on gear, 1 stat on passive
- Really satisfying and clean visual
- No resist pressure, so can easily gets a lot of Rarity
- Not tanky, even with 9-10k life
- There's a bug that unbind your button whenever u change instance, not a deal breaker but can be annoying if u forgot to re-bind it when entering a map
- Can be expensive as it use some same uniques as the meta BM spark build
Build Variants
This is imported in-game character at the point of recording build guide video. No fancy corruption on
Veil of the Night and
Kaom's Heart, no
Grand Spectrum also, so we can easily push past 10k life, even 12k+ is achievable.
The cheapest setup will require a
The Unborn Lich staff with level 19
His Scattering Calamity (loose Swift Affliction III link) with 2 rolls of spell dmg per 100 life, and chance to fire 2 additional projectiles. A
Kaom's Heart and a
Veil of the Night. All the rare gear just get as much life as possible depend on your budget, everything else is optional.
The first somewhat "luxury" upgrade when u farmed some currency should be a +3 all spell amulet with lots of life, then
The Unborn Lich with level 20
His Scattering Calamity and 2 desired stats mentioned above.
Equipment
There's a detailed search link for every single item I use down here, depend on your budget, choose wisely!
The Unborn Lich search link:
Luxury level 20 version for 6L/5soc
You can try to self unveiled one btw, google/youtube search will be your mentor here xD
Veil of the Night search link:
Depend on your budget, you can look for better corrupted rolls with more than 50% life, mine is just 50% and it's fine
Kaom's Heart search link:
Same principle with the helmet, based on your budget u can look for more than 1500 life roll, I'm ok with a regular 1500 life one. If this is still too expensive, u can buy failed corrupt ones with less than 1k5 life, it's fine till u can replace it
Rare amulet search link: - first priority upgrade is here, since +3 is big, and % life also super big
Rare rings search links:
Rare belt search link:
Link here. Depend on your budget, just sort by total maximum life and buy the highest value you can afford. Remember, elemental resist is useless for us.
Rare boots search links:
Rare gloves search links:
Jewel search links:
Undying Hate - mandatory - Tecrod version - price in div only (as Annul price is more prone to changes)
From Nothing - not mandatory, but pretty good for level 90+ chars to grab lots of extra crit chance/multi
Rare jewels (recommended for budget)
Best in slot jewel x3 -
Grand Spectrum Ruby - UPDATE: I tried, and Grandspectrum is not as good for this character, probably because we can't use
Rathpith Globe so life doesnt scale dmg that hard
Don't bother about
Megalomaniac, unless you know what you're doing and can find one with 1 or 2 nodes that's decent/good for the build, it's super hard to replicate and not that much better than rare jewels without insane currency investment.
Skill Gems
Support Gem Requirements:
Str 50
Dex 50
Int 50
Feast of Flesh
His Scattering Calamity
Arc
Flameblast
Firestorm
Orb of Storms
Fireball
Spark
Only care about
His Scattering Calamity link. If u can't afford Atalui's Bloodletting then it would be rough for dmg even for regular tier 15 with this life stack setup. This gem used to be as low as 1 divines, but at this current point it's 7-8 div and can change more. Rakiata's Flow is a luxury gem, but it is really damn powerful, without it you kinda have to use
Frost Bomb and
Elemental Weakness or some penetration to deal more boss dmg, which defeat the purpose of 1 skill 1 stat xD.
An example "budget" 5L will be:
His Scattering Calamity + Atalui's Bloodletting + Embitter +Compressed Duration II + Swift Affliction III. And the 6th Link before Rakiata's Flow can be either Pinpoint Critical or Zenith II or even Considered Casting
All the other random spells are there to socket a total of 10 support gems for each attribute, to get 5% life, ms and mana from
Gem Enthusiast annointment. If you don't want to even worry about this shinanegan, just annoint something else like
Cooked or
Stormcharged...etc
Passive Tree
Just get the 2 reduced skill effect duration wheel when u can, then grab crits everywhere, crit chance is higher prio than multi btw.
Changelog
https://mobalytics.gg/poe-2/profile/unclejay/builds/braindead-warmachine-scattering-calamity-bloodmage-archmage-or-archbloodmage-life-stack-by-unclejay
Build has to change to Bloodmage to solve some recovery problems on "Less recovery map" and gets more dmg, qol, scaling... etc. It's just worth it XD
