Endgame Overview
This build uses
Spark for fast map clear while triggering Fire-infused
Comet through
Cast on Critical for massive single target damage. The build heavily invests into Mana scaling and gets 100% “Damage taken from Mana before Life”. Allowing us to have high Max Mana and Mana regeneration to rapidly recover damage taken while sustaining constant
Cast on Critical /
Comet triggers.
Archmage also provides a massive source of added gained lightning damage based on our Mana pool, making Mana scaling both our primary offensive and defensive layer.
The
Pathfinder ascendancy is used to provide exceptional mobility through the combination of
Running Assault and Mobility, allowing the build to maintain great movement speed while casting.
Traveller's Wisdom also greatly reduces the cost of our spells by converting spare Attributes into
% Increased Cost Efficiency.
This creates a fast paced and durable playstyle that excels at both high speed mapping and sustained single target damage in endgame content.
Endgame Transition Breakdown
DO NOT transition into the full endgame setup until you are at least Level 75 and after acquiring
Cloak of Defiance. The build heavily relies on mana scaling and "Damage is taken from Mana before life", so transitioning too early can feel weak and uncomfortable. Make sure you have decent "Increased mana regeneration rate" on gear and enough “Damage taken from Mana before Life” (100%) through the following:
Cloak of Defiance (50%)
The Greatwolf's Rune of Willpower (15%)
Lucidity (8%) + small passives (8%)
Adverse Growth (0%) + small passives (8%)
Chakra of Thought (8%) + small passive (4%)
Total = 101%
*If you corrupt
Cloak of Defiance to 57% you can drop
Adverse Growth and save 4 passive points
You also now need to get an
Omen Sceptre with at least 137+ Spirit (Recommended 167+) to enable the Spirit setup for the build along with
Malice to help us out with early crit.
