PhazePlays VARASHTA Minion Cull Warper build for 0.5!
- This is an Expensive
Disciple of Varashta Alternate Version of the Minion Cull Warper Witchhunter build! - This setup requires
Aldur's Legacy (very expensive) for
Legacy of Deathblow, and should probably run Rakiata's Flow.
Palm of the Dreamer is also an option - If you don't have a ton of currency, this guide probably isn't for you! The Witchhunter setup is far more budget-friendly
- This setup requires
- Watch the attached video to understand the build's mechanics and interactions, and check out the Witchhunter Build Guide which is much more in-depth than this guide
This is a work in progress — If you have any suggestions, feel free to let me know!
Major Differences from the Witchhunter Setup:
- Pure Energy Shield instead of Evasion/Armour
Raging Spirits and
Ember Fusillade dropped- More minion variety for Muster
- Rakiata's Flow on
Bind Spectre or
Wardbound Minions to avoid giving up 2 skill slots for
Frost Bomb and
Elemental Weakness
Notes
Runeforged Sekhema Sandals alone should be enough Runic Ward
Horror's Flight: Must have the Raven-Touched mod- Do not put
Legacy of Deathblow in a pair of gloves without Raven-Touched.
- Do not put
Myris Uxor: aim for a corrupted 115%+ culling threshold- Must have 400%+ Culling Strike Threshold for comfortable mapping
- Swap in a +2 minion level helmet with ES for serious pinnacle bosses
Wolf Pack is optional, if you're not a fan or the Spirit is tight it's not necessary
Convalescence is also a great option if preferred. Drop
Skeletal Sniper or
Wolf Pack if you want to run this- Make sure you have a source of Armour Break on Kelari from somewhere
Weapon Sets
- Optional:
Palm of the Dreamer in Weapon Set 1. If not running this, just lock the Sceptre and Focus to both Weapon Sets - Rare +4 Sceptre in Weapon Set 2 (Any variant of
Shrine Sceptre for free auras) - Lock the Focus to both weapon sets
- If running
Palm of the Dreamer: you'll probably have to assign fewer minions to Weapon Set 1 as it doesn't have a Spirit roll. Not a problem though
- If running
Unfortunately there's no straightforward way to automate weapon swapping between sets 1 and 2, as binding Djinn skills to specific weapon sets appears to have been removed this patch.
The most optimal way to handle this is probably to just stay in Weapon Set 1 most of the time while mapping (assigned to
Lightning Warp), and then either manually weapon swap to Weapon Set 2 or rely on
Wardbound Minions to swap
- Assign
Lightning Warp to Weapon Set 1 - Assign
Wardbound Minions to Weapon Set 2
Annoints
- This build requires 3 annoints:
Bounty Hunter
Hunting Companion
Dominion
- These can be applied to:
Horror's Flight (Raven-Touched) Gloves, Amulet, and get the 3rd from
Megalomaniac
TIme-Lost Jewel
There are 2 great spots for
Time-Lost Sapphire:
- Top-Center jewel socket — paired with
From Nothing: Ritual Cadence - This is more budget-friendly
- Top-Right jewel socket — paired with
From Nothing: Conduit - This is fairly expensive but slightly stronger
The 3 must-have mods on
Time-Lost Sapphire:
- Notable Passive Skills in Radius also grant Minions have (6—12)% increased Critical Damage Bonus
- Notable Passive Skills in Radius also grant Minions have (5—10)% increased Critical Hit Chance
- Upgrades Radius to Very Large (crafted on with Ancient Potent Liquid Melancholy)
Be aware that the Radius of these doesn't display correctly in PoB/Moba, especially with Varashta's radius increase
There's also some shenanigans you can do for 5-mod Time-Lost jewels
Upgrades
- Uul-Netol's Embrace is an expensive lategame option on Kelari
