Bitter Dead Gemling is a crit-based corpse caster that scales damage through high minion count, extra chaos conversion and massive crit.

Unlike Archmage variants, this version focuses on maintaining corpses through chance not to consume corpses, allowing continuous Bitter Dead casting while keeping excellent clear and strong boss damage. This is why we're using the gemling, so we get the Advanced Thaumaturgy for a higher chance of not consuming the corpses via Bitter Dead when we're stacking skill quality.

Gameplay

Start map:

1. Consume minions
2. Generate initial Bitter Dead orbs
3. Hold Bitter Dead

Boss:
Pre-stack orbs → spawn → delete.

Bitter Dead consumes corpses to generate seeking projectiles.

Normally this destroys your corpse generation, but we stack multiple sources of chance to not consume corpses.

This lets us sustain corpses while continuously casting Bitter Dead.

To maintain corpses we have:

• Enezun's Charge
• Passive tree corpse sustain
• Gemling Advanced Thaumaturgy

Once rolling, mapping becomes almost entirely hold-to-clear gameplay.

We scale using The Dark Defiler

Each undead minion grants:

Gain 5–6% of Damage as Extra Chaos Damage

By running high cleric count plus additional warriors, this becomes an enormous damage multiplier. We then convert it into cold via Embitter so we can make use of cold pen, cold scaling and freeze.
