Overview

This build is definitely the coolest and most badass build you will find in Path of Exile 2! If you want a build that focuses on dropping bombs and blowing up the entire screen witth Hammer of the Gods, this is the build for you because that is ALL WE WILL BE DOING!

This build is unfortunately, not a budget build or a league starter, so if you want to follow this guide, expect to put in some $$$. It requires Palm of the Dreamer and Hateforge with a specific Vaalbourne affix in addition to Soul Tether with a specific Vaalbourne affix as well. It is also not playable until at least level 80+ so expect to level with another skill.

BUT if you are able to make it work, it is such an amazingly satisfying build that you won't regret playing!

The Tech

Using Zerphi's Infamy, we are able to generate Glory by using our life as a resource through Blood Magic. We take advantage of the high mana cost of Temporal Chains in order to generate enough Glory to cast Hammer of the Gods with 1 spell cast.

We also use Craving Slaughter and Hateforge to generate a ton of Rage, more than doubling our original Rage pool. Combining that with Mystical Rage and @Crown of Eyes, we get A LOT of damage.

We also are a 100% Skill Duration Reduction build that uses Time of Need which means that we don't have to worry about any curses or ailments and it improves our effective health pool by a TON!

The Sacred Maul is going to be our best in slot because of its high base attack speed.

Stats-wise, you want to prioritize the following:

As Much Physical Damage as Possible
As much Attack Speed as Possible
+ Level of Melee Skills/Attack Skills
Gain % of Damage as Physical

Runes you will want to get a mixture of Greater Rune of Alacrity and Iron Rune depending on how much attack speed you have on your character. Use PoB to min/max.

Weapon Set II

Get a wand or staff with as much Cast Speed as possible.

Get + Levels to Spells on this (at least 5).

Helmet

Crown of Eyes will be our best in slot and required for this build. Use a Tzamoto's Soul Core of Ferocity to give us more Rage, which is what we mainly use to scale our damage in this build.

Body Armour

Get as much Energy Shield and defensives as possible. My build uses Spirit but feel free to skip it if you don't care about using Herald of Ice because Palm of the Dreamer helps a lot with clear already.

Gloves

Hateforge is the best in slot.

You want to remove the line that says "Lose all Rage on reaching Maximum Rage"

Replace it with "+(8—12) maximum Rage for each time you've used a Skill that Requires Glory in the past 6 seconds, up to 5 times"

In order to do this, you need to use a Vaal Cultivation Orb on it OR just buy one.

Boots

Pretty straightforward - as much Energy Shield and Resistances as possible. As high Movement Speed as possible.

Amulet

This is a stat heavy build, so we NEED an Astramentis with as much stat as possible.

Annoint Mystical Rage.

Rings

You need to get Life Leech. Other than that, get as much Physical, Cold, and Fire Flat damage as possible.

Belt

Soul Tether is required.

You want to remove the line that says "You lose 5% of maximum Energy Shield per second"

The line you replace it with is not that important - as long as it is not "Lose (2.5—5)% of maximum Life per second"

In order to do this, you need to use a Vaal Cultivation Orb on it OR just buy one.

Jewels

This build uses a few unique Jewels:

How to Map

Use Temporal Chains to generate Glory for Hammer of the Gods. If you are not generating enough Glory with 1 spell cast, you need to make it consume more mana by leveling the Gem to a higher level, getting more + Levels to Spells, or by getting Support Gems that increase the cost more.

After you kill your first pack of enemies, Reaper's Invocation should have enough energy to continue supplying you with enough Glory for Hammer of the Gods. If you ever generate less than the required amount, just use your regular Temporal Chains again to restart the cycle.

How to Boss

Use Temporal Chains and Hammer of the Gods as the boss is coming out to stack up your Rage.

After that drop a Thunderstorm, use Infernal Cry and spam Temporal Chains and Hammer of the Gods to kill the boss. If you need to refresh Infernal Cry, just use it again.
